Caldicot Castle
Went here for The Big Banquet. It was so beautifully amazing. The festival was great inside the walls of the castle. Decent sized disabled toilet. Lovely green park outside the walls. Seemed to be plenty of parking

Caldicot Castle
Absolutely beautiful castle and amazing that it's free to go and free to park. You can actually go inside the renovated areas to have a nose around. Park for little ones on the grounds as well. We had a lovely day! and totally free!

Caldicot Castle
A beautifully restored medieval castle surrounded by a country park with nice walks and a nature reserve. The castle is free to visit and has refreshments, shop and large covered picnic area. Plenty to explore and things to do for the kids. Large free car park on site.

This castle is such a beautiful place to visit with the family loads of land to walk around such a friendly environment to be in. We have had the pleasure to grab some amazing photos of this beautiful castle in Wales.

Caldicot Castle
Rare to find a 'free' attraction these days. This restored Norman Castle isn't huge but it's interesting and worth a visit. There are great views from the top of the keep and lots of surrounding parkland if you just fancy a wander. There's also a playground in the park so it's ideal for the kids!

Free entrance into the castle grounds, allowing access to all the rooms. Well-kept clean grounds with lots of space for family picnics and people walking their dogs.My 6-year old loved searching for the hidden fairy doors which gave lots of opportunity for the grown-ups to enjoy the historical exhibitions. We are looking forward to visiting for the upcoming Halloween and Christmas events!

Caldicot Castle
Went there unexpectedly after we visited my seafearer brother in law on shore leave in Bristol port, we thought why not hop in Wales as we were already there just few miles away. One tiny thing thats annoying is the way going there as Wales already implemented their 20mph rule on residential areas.. believe me no overtaking on that speed. You really have to take patience with you. But all in all, Castle is free admission Tuesdays to Sunday only, free parking, kid friendly environment and not to far off.
