Excellent service. Very painless threading and waxing, one of the most comfortable experiences I have had so far. The walk in appointments make it so easy to get services when needed. Very friendly staff and I have made this place my regular in York! Will not go any place else in York.

1st time visiting the salon for gel nail manicure. Would NOT recommend. Application was not good at all, as you can see in pictures. Rough round the edges, colour on the nail bed, not capped at the end of the nail, and too much gel caused uncomfortable heat spikes and a clumsy looking end result ! 1 nail chipped after a few hours and both thumbs lifted off completely after 3 days. Emailed and asked for a refund for compensation of this bad experience and was offered another set of nails or a voucher for their salon! NOT what I wanted at all- so on top of all of the above poor customer service too!

I absolutely love S Uique! It is such a calming, pampering experience, and the ladies are amazing at what they do! Would highly recommend!

I recently had waxing treatment + eyebrow and eyelash tint at S Unique. It was a great experience, very professional and not nearly as painful as I expected! My beautician's technique was really good and fast. Super happy with the results.

I booked S Unique based on >4 Google reviews. The service was very efficient, almost too efficient, which could be the reason I now have 2 chipped shellac nails within 2 days of the manicure. Wouldn’t describe the experience as particularly relaxing (minimal chit chat, no cuticle work, no salon music) and the treatment felt more functional vs special. Won’t be rushing back.
