Bridge House Bed and Breakfast

We stayed four nights with Ivor, Anna and Pip as hosts. The rooms very comfortable and welcoming with views inviting exploration of the local area. Ivor is very knowledgable of the area and gave us great ideas of places to visit on both Harris and Lewis.The rooms are very well appointed and maintained to perfection. Highly recommended and we certainly look forward to going back and stay at Bridge House. Breakfasts are amazing, the porridge a must to try, along with superb salmon and scrambled egg, all delivered you your room punctually and well presented. You enjoy your breakfast looking at stunning views.Thank you for taking care of us during our stay.

Great accommodation! The room surpassed our expectations and the welcome from Ivor and Anna was so warm and friendly, that you quickly feel at home! Breakfast is delicious and varied and Ivor is great at offering tips and advice on places to visit! A great stay, I would recommend it to anyone!

Ivor was a phenomenal host. He was so informative about the local area and gave us some great hints and tips. The room was large and comfortable, and decorated beautifully with Harris Tweed. Shower was hot and powerful. A large double that was very comfortable. There were excellent cooking facilities with lots of utensils, meaning that we could cook our own meal in the evenings. Breakfast was a highlight. The traditional Scottish porridge was delicious. Eggs and milk were local. Bread was homemade. We had a truly wonderful stay at Bridge House B&B and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area. Thank you so much Ivor.

Lovely B&B in great location on Lewis. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, with small hob, microwave and kettle in the kitchen area. Great shower and comfy bed. The hosts, Ivor & Anna, were very friendly and shared lots of information on the local area. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful, couldn't fault a single thing. The room was furnished to a high standard and included everything you would need to make sure you have a lovely holiday. Ivor and Anna have thought of everything and are on hand with lots of useful information about this beautiful island. The breakfast is awesome, cooked beautifully with Lots of choice including vegetarian. It is also dog friendly which is hard to come by on the island. Would highly recommend this b&b when visiting the Isle of Lewis.

The best B&B we stayed on our journey! Ivor and Anna are the most amazing hosts, making sure that we have everything we need. The rooms are very beautiful decorated, warm, extremely cozy, super clean, with an amazing shower and with everything that one needs. Also there were food and water bowls and also towels prepared for our dog! The breakfast( also amazing vegan breakfast.. still thinking about that porridge) which Ivor prepares freshly every morning was simply delicious.We also received a lot of tips on what to explore and where to go. Ivor has so much knowledge about the surroundings.And Anna made sure that we survive the midges attacks:-)) Thank you for that!We cannot stop recommending this B&B!Thank you for everything, Ivor , Anna and Pip

A B&B that is the model for all. One of the most remote places - but worth the trek. Lovely location, attentive and knowledgeable hosts, lovely well equipped room. Breakfast was an ‘event’ being freshly delivered to the door to enjoy in your room. Basic but well equipped kitchenette was a godsend as there are very few options to eat out at night.Dog friendly- highly recommend!

Genuinely the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Ivor and Anna’s hospitality was much appreciated after a very long cycle. The room was extremely comfortable and large and the shower was great. The breakfast was also amazing and we will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!

Phenomenal stay here at Ivor & Anna's b'n'b. They were amazing, friendly and helpful hosts - Offering lot's of advice and guidance on things to do on the island. The accommodation itself is beautifully built and spacious inside with great Harris Tweed decor and plenty of space. Many great sleeps had and a real treat to wake up to a delicious breakfast from Ivor each day. Lovely quiet beach to swim in & mountains to climb - all within walking distance.
