Potterhouse Lane Household Waste Recycling Centre
I have spent the last 3 days clearing out my mum's house who resently passed away. The staff who have been on duty 27/28/29 March 19 were nothing but brilliant, without knowing the situation, the couldn't have done more to help. A huge thank you for the staff members who have a different/hard job. Is a shame I can only give 5 stars as the deserve so many more. Thanks again.

We had some wood and plastic to get rid of. We arrived outside of the entrance because we were too big (motorhome) to enter the site. We began to walk in our stuff only to be told we couldn't walk in. So we had to leave. What is one supposed to do? No wonder stuff gets dumped in the countryside!

A cheap half day out for the family. Kids can play 'find the right skip' and 'dump your MDF in the wood skip at your peril'.

Potterhouse Lane Household Waste Recycling Centre
It doesn’t seem to matter what time I go here, there’s always a long queue of traffic. This last time, traffic was queued out into the road, causing chaos. When I got inside, my car was stopped by a staff member who simply walked in front of the car with her back to me - no eye contact, no hand gestures - and myself and the multiple cars behind me had to wait even longer. In the end, there was no room to stop, and I had to just leave once I’d FINALLY gotten round the loop. An absolutely shocking service.

Absolutely lovely people at this tip. From the neighbourhood watch chap looking after the many cars, to the lassies and chap inside the centre. Anyone who complains about these people should look at themselves first.Great job and thank you to you all.

Previously it would have been a 1star review but this last time a female staff member politely asked if they could help. What a pity the blokes arent as helpful or as polite. The site is too cramped for the volume of cars attending and trying to access the skips you need can be difficult. It grieves me to say it but I think this is the worst site Ive visited.

After 2 bags full of clothes were accidentally taken here, the staff were AMAZING with helping us find the clothes and return them too us. Couldn't thank them more. 10/10.
