Staff very friendly and service was good. All meals were nice and hot and nicely presented. Portions were good. 8oz rump steak sizzler was awful, the steak was tough and chewy, tasteless and was inedible, so wasn't eaten. We made waitress aware but no replacement or partial refund was offered. All other meals and sides were good, just the steak, some sort of goodwill would have been appreciated. We will visit again though, not put off by one steak.

My partner and myself was in a few days ago for drinks staff were polite and helpful when I couldn’t decide what to drink. We didn’t come for food be decided to get something light we both got the wraps with side salad which was all fresh and crispy. My partner isn’t a fan of “pub food” but was happy with what she had as it seemed like it came from something home cooked. Very happy with the visit all together

Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere. Mostly watch football but i have a meal on the odd occasion. Lovely staff always willing and ready to serve customers . May I mention a lovely and friendly lady (Louisa) fairly new to the pub but great personality !!!

Went here as we was out shopping a d to late to cook when we got home usually we have a good time in there but this time was terrible there was a small party in and we was told we couldn't order food untill all the party had done nearly 45 minutes we could order food then the food took ages coming out my burger was pink and cold over 2 hour ordeal wasn't pleasant I'm not being funny the place wasn't packed out by any means if you have a certain amount of tables you should be able to cater for all orders not hold other customers back from ordering especially when some of the party had only just arrived after 25 minutes of us getting there and they got priority absolute shambles we was offered 20 pound gift card but didn't really want the money. As it kind of puts you off wanting to attend imploy more staff and have a better kitchen rotor system

came here for the first time in a few months.Last time kitchen was closed thankfully this time everything was running smoothly.Lots of new staff which were absolutely lovely. Waiting time was next to none.Ordered our meals and waiting less than half hour for it to come to the table.Staff seemed very happy to be working where as last time there was a dull mood.Maybe this is the way to the new halcyon

We ordered using the app, which is usually an impressive experience, but not today! A waitress promptly turned up with My zero Guinness in a can and my partners Heineken bottle, she scarpered off so fast before I could ask where the glasses were. Most will know you can't drink canned draught Guinness from a can. Subsequently had to queue for 5 minutes at the bar to get glasses, so much for the convenience of the app! For the main course, we ordered Sea bass, our fish was tipped onto the plates upside down, skin side up, with the sauce on top of the skin! So by the time I had removed the skin and turned my fish the correct way up, most of the sauce ended up mixed in with discarded skin, so was a bit of a tasteless experience. However, the desserts were presented much better. I've eaten here many times and I would usually give it 4 stars, but today I cant offer more than 2

The service was absolutely awful, waited 50 minutes for our food to come out and when it did it was shocking.we asked several times please could we be advised how long the food would be as the children was hungry to be told il just find out, and nobody came back to us. And it was not like it was busy it was a friday lunch time ......when it did come out the children's chips on there meals was black and green inside and sausages very well done and majority of the food cold.
