I would happily recommend Roger as he was friendly, efficient and very flexible to work around other tradesmen at our renovation and did a thoroughly good job with wood treatment and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services

Town & Cottage Preservations
I've waited a little while to post a review as we are using Town & Cottage Preservations for a variety of tasks on our ongoing renovation project. I've always found them to be friendly, professional and quick to respond to any messages or queries.They are also very flexible with dates and are happy to fit their bits in and around other trades and my DIY schedule. They offer a real range of building type services which was great for us as we are using them as a one stop shop for any bits we can't do ourselves.Would recommend to friends and family.

Town & Cottage Preservations
As lovely as Roger is. The workmanship from town and cottage preservations falls massively short. We were very unhappy with the finish and over all quality. Roger was very good at trying to put it right, but it seemed he/ the staff just didn’t have the skillset required. A short time later the damproofing also failed in many areas. Although we have a warranty- we have since had it completely redone by someone else. A disaster really, as it’s a sizeable room! Perhaps this was an isolated project?

Would like to thank Roger for a fabulous job , we had a terrible damp problem. Now we have a beautiful house.He is always cheerful and flexible with other work that we were having done . We would recommend him highly

Town & Cottage Preservations
Floor leveling and plastering far from adequate, had to employ another plasterer to get walls and floor level ready for kitchen fitter. Never turned up when promised and left property in an unprofessional state. Would advise anyone to avoid.
