Beautiful quality food here and great service. Breakfast sausage sandwich with chilli jam was just what I needed. Kept me full the whole day. Parking is free up the long road but can take a bit of searching to find a spot. Recommend

Nice food and selection of coffee but was made to feel a little unwelcome when entering as took a while for the team to stop talking and acknowledge us.

Although this is a great restaurant - BEWARE if you entrust them with a special occasion. A table was booked for a reunion 6 weeks before the event. A deposit of £80 paid. Received a telephone call 2 hours before our booking telling us that they close early on this day and that there will be no lunch menu available. The attitude of the staff was shocking- Blasé and couldn’t care less. ‘Well what do you want me to say?’ was one of the comments when I complained about the attitude. They lied and said a call had been made one week earlier,( a search of phone records showed they hadn’t.) We had received 3 confirmation emails during the week with 1 email even on the morning itself. We were left to scrabble around with an hour or two notice to try and find a venue which could accommodate 8 or us.

Lovely chilled vibes sitting outside with cocktails. The rain got heavier and staff were incredibly amenable, setting us up inside with our sharing board of delicious meats and cheeses. Gorgeous atmosphere on a Saturday night.

Simple food with the highest quality.From breakfast eggs benedict to afternoon business meetings or coffee with friends to an intimate date night, Blacks corner ticks every box.I have meetings here regularly with clients from out of the area and every single one says the same, i wish i had this place on my doorstep.""
