Dunelm

I ordered 2 metal & wood display units. Collected at MK branch, and both units were chipped on front edge. There were 2 other units on the shop floor, which, although both were damaged, the chips were not in such a visible position. I asked for and received a 30% discount on these. Transaction took 32 minutes as not enough staff on the tills. (I usually go to Wellingborough or Kettering branch where the service is so much better)

A large Dunelm located about 10 mins from the main shopping centre. Has all the items you would expect over 2 floors and also has a good cafe located on the mezzanine.There are lifts to the first floor as well as stairs.Bathroom, bedding and lighting are upstairs with the rest on the ground floor. I was looking for bath towels and there was a big selection of sizes and colours.I was also looking for a rug and again the selection was big with many sizes and designs available.The only black Mark was the wait to pay. One customer gave up and walked out. There were only 2 members of staff on the checkout. It wasn’t terrible but should have been a bit quicker, hence 4 stars.

My wife dragged me around the shop last Saturday. We bought some things and spent 15 minutes in a queue to pay for them.We wanted to return 2 of the items, so on Wednesday I drove back as we had paid with my card. I spent another 15 minutes in a queue (sending my wife photos of queue as it went down very slowly) and the items were refunded ok.Overall, the shop seems pretty good, but the experience reminded me why I only shop online, mostly Amazon.

I phoned the shop with an issue I had with an item I bought there. The person who picked up the phone needed to ask his manager to see if they are able to help and solve my problem. Unaware that I can still hear the discussion they having they thought it is professional and appropriate of them both to treat my issue as a laughing matter. Very poor customer service.

Came here last week I love the shop, but little criticism is I’m gluten and dairy free and the cafe didn’t have one meal that was gluten and dairy free. I asked if the chilli con carne was and the lady couldn’t even tell me, she searched their app and said it wasn’t showing her. Such a shame, that out of every meal you had on the menu I couldn’t eat anything there.

Had never been in here till recently with my gran was lovely in there stuff looks expensive but reasonable prices.

Free parking outside for up to three hours.Toilets inside.A cafe.One of the largest dunelms I've actually seen.Very clean and tidy inside with plenty of staff.Till service was fast and efficient with plenty of space for everyone.My only criticism is that the cafe staff don't actually seem to want to be there.I was stood there for so long ignored, I wondered if I should serve myself to food....Still, everyone has a bad day, so I hope next time will be better.... !

Brought made to measure curtains in May 2023, had problems from the start. Couldn’t ever get through on phone to them. Had several visits over the months by curtain fitter, couldn’t fix my problem. Dunelm finally took the curtains back 2 weeks ago to see how to resolve the problem, as usual no one told me what was going on. Today I went into the store to see what was happening. Firstly my order details couldn’t be found. So another colleague was called, she said she was coming to see me, 10 minutes later still no sign so another assistant was asked to find her & say I was still waiting, again she said she was coming, 20 minutes later she was called again & her response was, I’m going home, I’m raging still. Sat there for half an hour & she didn’t even bother, why am I surprised? I did get a call when I got home from yet another person, saying she had chased my curtains & they can’t find them? The only reason they were chased is because I went into the store yet again. Think clearly before you buy made to measure curtains from them as they neveranswer the phone or bother to contact you. 6 months had now passed, I have paid a lot of money & have no curtains, they aren’t interested. I would have put no stars but had to in order to write a review. Very angry customer.

Very good range of essential products for your home. Lots of curtains, Bedding , kitchen ware and general home decor bits with a good range of prices. Staff are great too.

Good quality items, store is laid out nicely. Staff are helpful if asking questions.
