German Doner Kebab

I had heard so much about German products being synonymous with quality and excitement, and as a proud owner of a German car, I was genuinely looking forward to experiencing the same level of excellence at this store. Unfortunately, my visit left me utterly disappointed.If you're a rabbit with an insatiable craving for salads, this might just be your dream destination. However, for those of us who consider ourselves true food connoisseurs, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.It's disheartening when a store falls so short of the high expectations it has set for itself. In my experience, true German quality is about precision, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail. Unfortunately, this store seemed to miss the mark entirely.For genuine food enthusiasts seeking a memorable culinary adventure, I urge you to look elsewhere.

My experience with Wycombe GDK has been pretty good. The staff are friendly, the food takes an acceptable amount of time (5-10 mins) to be prepared, and it always tastes very good. The texture of the kebab is just right, and it is not too greasy so you won’t feel too guilty whilst you eat it! The only problem i’ve ever encountered were some slight communication problems at the counter, but the staff ask for clarification and everything is resolved quickly. The two-for-one deal on Tuesdays sees me getting food every fortnight from here. Overall, the food is great and the service/wait is good.

I visited the shop just after it opened I decided to order on the machine the young lady told me to take a seat and she would bring it over which was really lovely within 5 minutes or so my food was ready very hot which was lovely very quiet and I was left alone to enjoy my food . Asked if I wanted anything else near to me finishing with was lovely . Such good customer services , I like the restocking that the young lady was doing with sauces to get ahead of her self . Normally in most food places you hear each other shouting or loud talking when communicating between kitchen and out front but here you don’t get that you just get talking which is nice still nearly an hour later and it’s lovely and quiet and calm one of my favourite places to eat by far . Disappointed Experience at German Doner Kebab, High WycombeI recently visited German Doner Kebab in High Wycombe and was quite disappointed with my experience. The main issue I encountered was with the quality of the fries – they were soggy and clearly reheated. This reflects a lack of attention and focus from the management. It’s disheartening to see an establishment’s standards decline in this way. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall dining experience for their customers.

Worst GDK I have been to. Better to go slough and bring food back to H/W. Order was taken correctly but missed a off a boss box, I ordered 4 in total. It’s not rocket science…..then went back and told them you missed of the boss box and had to wait a further 10 mins on top of the 30 mins I was told initially. People Behind the glass area we’re just lost and some were just acting childish. What a disappointment this food has been. Spent over £50. I will in future just go slough where the service is spot on and customer service along with professionalism is how you expect when spending this much money. I think the owner needs to review this work place and his/her staff. Also the casadia just looked like a floppy wrap when it should look like the pictures on the menu……I have now changed my rating on this place I have visited after many months and I have to say they have upped their game and food is on point now. Keep up the good work.15/07/23 I have changed my review again this place is just going downhill. Staff are in their own world and and no acknowledgment of customer standing at the counter and then be told or to figure out you have to use the kiosk. It’s like the staff are deliberately no looking at the customer as they may have to do their job which is to take orders……I paid £53 and what a load of rubbish. I added extras and paid extra on the kiosk and these were not added. Food was just Luke warm such a big disappointment. I went back here after a long time and it’s fair to say this branch is plain and simple rubbish.

German doner kebab was recommended to me by family, and i was excited and expecting food to spare. I ordered what I thought was their 5* wrap/sandwich (The Real OG). I was a bit disappointed because it was not as big as I thought it would be, especially for the price. Salad was lacking everything, even though i chose all salad, and it was dry no sauce. However, the service was quick, very quick delivery. The potion of the chips is for toddlers, definitely not adults.Would I order again? Yes, but I will probably try something different from their menu

Had problems every time I ordered in this place and this is the last chance I give them. Orders are wrongly delivered, overpriced to get somebody else's meal. This concrete order was placed just before 8 night, and we got it delivered at 11 night which means not only a wrong delivery but also that they keep their food resting there for hours and they are able to give it to customers.

I was visiting High Wycombe for work purposes and it's the second time I have been to this restaurant but nothing like the last time which was WOW!I paid for my order and noticed there was no sauce which is supposed to be with the supplied. The server told me there was none and tried to leave it at that but when I asked if there was an alternative she said no".The server then said I would have to pay extra and when I refused and told her that there should be an alternative offered she was flippant and rude. She got a small pot of sauce from the kitchen and dropped it on my tray with a sulky attitude.I feel let down by the customer service here and have worked in catering myself so I know that you are supposed to provide a happy experience."

When opened originally standard of food was top-notch however nowadays the standards are poor. Ordered a takeaway (mixed donner box with fries) the chicken was pink and raw happened on a few occassions would not reccomend unless you wanna be sat on the toilet the next few days.
