Essence has a lovely range of handmade soaps, perfumes, and jewellery. As well as quirky home ware.Rachel is a friendly and professional piercer. The space is very clean and there is a great range of jewellery to chose from.

Went to see Rachel for a jewellery change and she gave me exactly what I was looking for and for a really great price. Friendly warm welcome as always. You are amazing! Cannot recommend enough! ❤️Also had my septum pierced last year by Rachel and it was totally painless and quick! Xxx

I make an effort everytime I am on the Island to come to this shop. The things they sell the most unique things and beautiful things I have seen. The crystals and selection of tarot and orical cards are so unique and beautiful. I always come away with something. Staff are lovely and take time to talk to you if you need it. Would 100% recommend popping in, they sell everything from bags and mugs to guides to help reading tarot and crystals to homemade beautiful high quality jewellery.

Went here to get my ears pierced.I was greeted very warmly by the lady working. She showed me to where I needed to be and happily had a chat with me and my mum as I waited for my piercing service.The entire place was beautiful!After I have my ear pierced( which was done by the lovely Rachel)I came back out to the front of the shop. All the items were all pretty!!! I had a little look around and again the lady was happy to help and chat with me. Such a all around lovely experience! Highly recommend

I visited Rachel for a Jewellery change and I can’t recommend her enough! I’ll now be travelling from Portsmouth for all my piercings. Very hygienic and knowledgeable, also makes you feel so comfortable

Rachel was absolutely lovely, so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. She also took time to make sure that both my nostril piercings were even and they absolutely were. Would absolutely recommend, especially considering it’s walk in.The Essence shop is absolutely lovely, such a gorgeous shop, would definitely recommend to any crystal people, absolutely lovely experience overall! <3
