Bike & Run

Arrogant and extremely prejudiced person, unfortunately too typical of many cycle servicing shops. I advise all who are not of the mainstream ethnicity to AVOID like the plague - I only proceeded due to desperation on my commute.Barely and with a nasty shrug and scowl, he grunted about a 20min wait as he was busy with a repair - I'd only asked to buy a chain and 2 nuts - about 20sec of work! As I pressed him, one at a time 3 other customers entered, HE STOPPED TO SERVE THEM each immediately - with a cheerful smile. In between, I received my products as he could not deny he was now generally at his counter.Desperate to get out, I did not check the receipt: he had, quoted £9 then overcharged me BY £10.00!! I am truly sick of encountering people like this man, Ray Cestkant, and I give one star as I don't think I could give zero.

A huge thank you to Bike and Run for the fantastic service I received from them today!!! My e-bike chain, which isn't very easily accessible because of a chain guard, had come off in the midst of my commute tonight. I was so lucky that Bike and Run happened to be nearby when it happened! Frankly, I didn't think I'd get the issue sorted tonight and braced myself for a long walk home pushing my bike. Even though it was 20 mins before their closing time and I had no appointment, they very kindly took at look at the bike and fixed the problem (which turned out to be a loose chain plus a loose rear brake) very quickly and at a low price. I'm very grateful and will come back for future repairs and bike services!

I chanced upon this store while I was in Finchley on a visit. Despite the somewhat busy atmosphere, I was seen as soon as possible and given the best advice I’ve ever had about riding and bicycles. The service provided by Sally-Ann and her tall male colleague was sterling and will be picking up my bike soon.

Oof. Never usually leave a review on Google but also never met such a rude member of staff in a shop in my life. Don't mind someone having a bad day of it but open disdain towards customers is a bit far

Emailed the shop about tires and inner tubes for advice and they replied very quickly and recommended what I needed and prices. Put them on they are perfect already cycled 15 miles and feels easy. Thank you Steve for your help

I could not recommend them. Not friendly. They charge fairly high prices for safety checks. Not upfront over full cost. They want to sell their own bikes rather than provide bike related services but they do not appear to be particularly interested in bikes, only in the prices they can charge. They are local which is a plus. The fitted parts rattle a bit and I will still need to tighten bolts. The wheels had not been pumped. I will be taking the effort to go further away and find a real bike shop.

My wife and I were looking for our first trisuits and wetsuits today, and Sally-Ann was absolutely fantastic to help us out. She gave us excellent advice, helped us to get into the suits (it's not easy!) and was very patient with us. We spent about 2 hours in the store trying different things, and both ended up finding what we needed. Highly recommend!

I dropped my Tern fold-up in for a repair which was potentially quite tricky. I was expecting to hear back after a couple of days but to my delight it was fixed within a few hours and for a very reasonable price. This was the second shop I tried – the first failed completely.Thank you Bike and Run. Great job. The handlebar / stem feels really tight and secure now. Thank you.

Had road bike serviced by Ray in my first visit to this “proper” bike shop. Ray diagnosed the issues, completed the work on time as promised and even did follow up free of charge when I had a further minor issue. Highly recommend and a life saver since my previous go to bike shop closed. Incidentally I was one of the other customers in the shop on the day of the negative review posted on May 4th and all I can say is I saw no evidence of any wrongdoing maliciously stated by the disgruntled reviewer, just a hardworking business owner being asked to drop everything at the drop of a hat! No bike shops do drop in repairs, it would be total chaos!Highly recommended!
