Family Dry Cleaners & Alteration

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I came in yesterday afternoon after a maid of honour dress emergency and they kept the store open for me and took the dress, came in suuuper early to finish it for me for the wedding today, did a cracking job and were so so lovely. I’m now sat in the taxi on my way to my friends wedding and she will never have to know! Couldn’t recommend this place higher, total HEROES!!!

I’ve had multiple things altered here from a suit, to t-shirts, shirts, jackets and trousers. Amazing service and perfect work every time. If in the area, this is the place to go.

This is a great dry cleaners. I discovered Family Dry Cleaners on Hermitage Road after years of going to more expensive dry cleaners who did a poorer job on my dry cleaning and have been going there ever since. I have used them to dry clean clothes, a sofa cover, curtains and have found that Ali and his wife always do a fantastic job and charge less than I would expect for their great service. They are prompt and courteous and always advise you about whether the item would be better dry cleaned or could be washed at home. I have also used them to do some minor tailoring and they did a great job on this too - much better than I could have done myself. I would thoroughly recommend them - well worth a walk up Hermitage Road.

I am so happy to have found this local tailor. They are extremely friendly and make me feel comfortable, explaining what they are able to do based on my requirements and have a dressing room if I need to show them the garment on. Very reasonable prices and I have always been so happy with the finished result. Can't recommend highly enough!

Great quality alterations and friendly service. I had three pairs of jeans altered at the waist and leg and a repair on a ripped seam. The work was great and they fit perfectly now. Recommended!

What an amazing job and such a nice owner! My dry cleaned coat looks brand new (it was really old and dirty) and my old Levi jeans have been all patched up and will now probably last me many more years. Thank you so much! Fantastic. I have been using Family Dry Cleaners for two years for dry cleaning and alterations and everything has always been done perfectly (including managing to get out lots of tricky stains). The customer service is also excellent!

They have fixed a few things for me in the past and dry cleaned the few suits I owned. Always been quick professional and reasonably priced

Amazing. I bought a dress online with a split that was impractical at the back. They sewed it up and created a beautiful side split so I could walk and dance perfectly. You would never know the dress wasn’t made that way, defo my favourite birthday dress. Worth every penny. Would 100% recommend.
