I’ve had better Chinese food. The prawn toast was very greasy and overcooked. The chicken chow mein was very average and the pancake rolls were also greasy. It’s a shame as I was looking forward to trying this place after a couple of recommendations but maybe I picked an off night or the wrong items.

For the price and food quality value proposition it’s great. My reference point is the old Chinese (now closed) where we live up north and this place in Bude was busy with plenty of punters. Tasty grub and inexpensive at around £10 for main plus rice.

Anyone giving this place a good review either owns the place or has never had a good Chinese takeaway. Shocking quality and portion. Give it a miss.

Growing up in Bude this was always my favourite Chinese takeaway and even now as an adult it beats many in the various towns and cities I have moved to since.A very large menu with plenty of dishes to choose from. The sweet and sour chicken is a personal favourite as well as the pancake rolls.If you are not able to drive then it can be a bit problematic to access (Silver River on the Strand is also an excellent Chinese takeaway within the town centre and therefore easier to access on-foot) but if you can I definitely recommend Chungs.As with many of the takeaways in Bude it is cash only. The nearest ATMs are at Sainsbury's and Co-op.

Very good food. We ordered at just gone 5, and we’re able to pick up at 25 to 6, so not a long wait at all. The food was piping hot, and was all delicious.

The quality of food is amazing. Cannot fault this takeaway at all. Tasty, piping hot food. We have visited several times when on holiday in Cornwall. No complaints, 5 star quality and service every time.

Would not recommend. We ordered from Chungs after seeing good reviews on Google and have been left completely disappointed. We have an average Chinese takeaway in our home town and this left us completely underwhelmed. Nothing has any flavour, the batter is so hard and chewy it was near impossible to eat and the meals were mainly veg with barely any meat in. I wouldn’t dare touch the calamari dish I ordered just from the look of it. We will not be returning again
