Gruff Architects

We used Gruff for our self build project. They led us seemlessly through the initial concept designs, planning, onsite construction and even produced a house manual for us after the project was finished.Having completed a big project I'd say that the architect you choose is the most important relationship you establish (more so than the builder or other trades and services) and we were very happy that we chose Gruff. The team were very friendly, good communicators, had good attention to detail and importantly came up with great designs.I'd happily work with them again.

An absolute pleasure to deal with.

We used Gruff as architects for the interior structural redesign and subsequent fit out of Brickfields Bar in Brockley. From the outset Gruff were aware of our limited budget and desire to finish the project with a unique look. We are so happy with the finished work, particularly their vision when it came to making a statement with the bar design and help with branding. We found Gruff to be incredibly accommodating during the work, answering our queries and being very patient with our lack of knowledge when it came to detailed questions. Would highly recommend.

These guys were our first choice from all the architects we found. Really disappointed in the lack of communication with these guys but also glad that we found out before going further with them. For a company dealing with builds and large amount of your money to have not followed up when they promised they would a month after the initial project meeting says a lot. Gave us the impress this would be the level of communication through a project. They left us feeling like our 6 digit budget was insignificant, would have rather they’d said they weren’t interested in the project after the initial chat then to leave us hanging and wasting our time.
