Family run restaurant, with authentic Jamaican food and lovely staff. It's decorated like a real carribean food shack with reggae music playing while you eat and drink one of many special cocktails. On the edge of town with a car park opposite so it's easy to get to, and if you haven't got time to stay you can order and collect your food. I'd highly recommend Dutchy's!

Lovely family run establishment. Food is good, cocktails are great and staff is very friendly. Love their prawn starter with pineapple and bread and their pork main. Great atmosphere and music.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing. You can clearly tell the food is all freshly prepared and made to order, it means there is a bit of a wait but its worth it. Because they cook everything themselves from scratch they were able to adapt the recipies and provide an amazing vegan menu for our pre-booked vegan meet-up. Highly recommended.

Great food. Lovely atmosphere. Reggae music in background. Huge cocktail choice. Just nice to have a different food choice. Keep your eyes open to find it on a back street - well worth it. Also not very expensive.

The food, slightly above average and tasty enough. You can read other reviews for opinions on that. The reason that I am giving this place 1 star is because of the disgusting customer experience concerning the integrity of the staff. I am appalled to say that on ordering a quality alcoholic drink, I was charged £4 for one unit of a 70cl bottle worth only £30 that was severely watered down to make it look bigger with an effect on the taste meaning I might as well have just had a glass of water. Not only this, the staff lied about what they served me. I asked for a very specific drink to which they said they would check if they had, and then hey brought it to the table. Upon inspecting the bar stock myself after the meal, it turns out they did not own the Jamaican rum which I had asked for and instead had served me a different kind of rum and passed it off as the one I asked for. Not a word was said to me about this.I will not be coming here again, but I hope you are able to sort your lack of integrity and customer service so that your food may be enjoyed more in the future.

I've never left a review for anywhere, but this place is a gem. Good music, friendly staff, and amazing food. The sauces were something else...so much flavour; sweet and spicy. Big portions too so you won't leave hungry. If we lived in the area, this would be a regular haunt. Thanks Dutchy's!:-)

Initially we thought it didn't exist until we were standing right outside. It's definitely doesn't shout about its existence. After wondering in we found a neat little taste of Jamaica with authentic styling and cuisine.£4.50 for a course of the lunch menu is definitely reason to come again; their hot jerk sauce, generous portions and great beer selection definitely hit the spot

I've been lucky enough to visit Barbados in the past where the food was divine. I was particularly fond of the blackened chicken at a street market. It's not something that's on the menu at Dutchy's, but the food is great. I've tried a number of dishes here and they've all been good enough to keep me coming back. Good food and good service goes a long way. The interior is decorated to emulate a Carribbean jerk shack with corrugated metal sheets and wood attached the the walls, I like it. Get the plantain side! The sweetness blends beautifully with the spices they use in the other dishes. Go here. Eat.
