Stopped for a drink here.A lovely local village pub, with a nice feeling and gorgeous outside space.Really nice coming here for a late night drink.Relaxing did not want to leave.Did not have food so could not rate it but will be back soon.

Brilliant local pub with real atmosphere and good staff. A real pleasure to visit, nice to see a non-chain pub in this day and age. Excellent food and service since a recent takeover.

This seems quite a popular place but it was a hot day when we visited. Thought the menu was quite limited but what we ordered was ok. My partner had the cheesey tagliatelle and it was extremely cheesey. I had the salmon which was nice far to many potatoes but was nice. Service was good and staff seemed quite busy. Not easy to park as only a few spaces outside the pub itself.

I've just had a lesson in how to not do customer service.My friend and are staying in the area and I did some research on where to have a Sunday dinner, and found an award winning Sunday roast half an hour walk away - result!They didn't have a website but we were directed to their Facebook page and today post boasted their roast being served 12-5.30, so off we trotted just after 4 and arrived at 4.37 (yes we checked) only to be told that the kitchen was closed and they only serve until 4.30.I should add that we had tried to call to book but the phone didn't go through, we had also, as their Facebook post suggested, to message them, and also left a comment on their post about booking.When asked if there was anything they could do, we were met with shrugs, and when we asked about alternatives they suggested a local Chinese or Indian (we were with the dogs).We decided to have a (warm) glass of wine in the gorgeous, very instagramable, gardens, only to be confronted by a pack of off leash spaniels who riled up our dogs, and a giant dog poo on the grass.A little too late I checked previous Facebook posts to see this wasn't the first time that they had issues with serving the roast, they obviously haven't learned from previous mistakes!

Really lovely, upscale pub. The Sunday dinner menu was fun! Some of the veggies were really burnt though.

Went with a last minute booking on a weekday early evening (around 17:15), courteous on the phone and for the duration of our dinner. We sat indoors and it was beautifully decorated with the window mirrors, chandeliers. The bathrooms had a really cool wallpaper (at least in the female toilets). Everything was clean and nicely spaced out. The staff were accommodating with our requests for my father's birthday and extra cutlery.All our food tasted great and good value for money. Everyone was stuffed at the end. We had parmesan truffle puffs, chicken supreme, moroccon lamb, monkfish scampi, mixed veg, chocolate torte and tiramisu.

We loved the pub and the Sunday roast exceeded our expectations. You would be not mad to to try it out. Can wait to return in the week and try the main food menu and jam with the band #theextreamlyhappycouple #thefarmers #greatyarmouth #food #goodfood #roastdinner
