Oder on uber eat asked for knives and forks and glass for drinks was on work duty not happy and look what was on the bottom of my gravy paid lot for this food disappointed

Been going to zan for many years, never had any issues, lovely staff, nice food.How that has changed, rude staff who don't want to listen ( apart from one youg girl who was lovely and tried to help) shame her colleagues let her down, portion sizes reduced for a shocking price and to be honest not overly great.Very disappointed with my visit and will unfortunately be looking else where for my chippy tea in future.

Fish was greasy, lady who served me was extremely rude, took 15 mins to be served because the lady asked if I was served and when I asked for my order she said no and made food for herself and left to go on her break...

Update.Been a couple more times and it's great, must have had a couple bad visits. Definitely best fish and chips in the area.(Still a bit expensive but worth it).Previous review...Used to be very very good, worth the money.Unfortunately last few times the chips and kebab meat are old". By which I mean a bit overdone and not as fresh.And it's expensive

12pm on a Saturday, £18 for cold chips which looked like they had been cooked yesterday.Luke warm chicken and mushroom pie - peas were ok.Overall very disappointing for a lot of money

It's such an amazing place. I am living in London so I haven't had good fish and chips for a while. Good food is reasonably priced. The only snag is they close too early (9.00-930pm).
