I love working for Thornbury, the whole team feels like an extended family there is always someone on the end of the phone who is helpful, pleasant and polite and always have time to ask how you are. Thornbury Nursing is NOT worth the hype. You have to be willing to travel VERY far from home to work. Shifts often get cancelled at the very last minute. There is also a lot of favouritism staff even accepting gifts from people/bribes in exchange for shifts. You have to literally be GLUED to the Quick Nurse app in order to secure a shift and the staff do not always answer the phone when you want to book a shift so by the time you get through the shift has gone or is already on hold" allegedly. Very dodgy/suspicious dealing in my opinion. If they could come up with an alternative and fair system of shift booking it would be better because their rates are quite high. However is not worth the mental marathon of not knowing if you'll get work."

Working with Thornbury could be quite exciting and a good pay too. However, there are things that might be a problem, for example, issues of bookings, which could be very tasking. The issue of bribery to get a shift is becoming a phenomenon which does not tally with the policy of the company. If something could be done about this fine with me.

Since I started working with TNS as a top up I have never looked back. Their services are very efficient and pay package good. I love the flexibility of using Quick Nurse APP when booking shifts but I also know if I update my availability I get a nudge when the shift I want is available. Highly recommeded.

I love working for Thornbury Nursing Services, it provides me with flexible working around my family with excellent pay rates! I love working in many hospitals and different teams.The call centre staff are amazing, any problem I have had it has been resolved instantly.I feel I have the correct home life balance!

I've worked for Thornbury for 24 years now alongside my other job which involves contracts abroad, I love the flexibility, i can work as little or as much as i need, support is always there whenever I've needed it.

No shifts despite availability. Especially during grab the grand. The occasional shift I managed to book and arrived at the hospital I will told by my colleagues from Thornbury that they have worked all week. They were telephoned from some of the shifts. It's been bad this year. I love Thornbury and what it stands for but I am considering other agencies like your world or Swiis like others who have done this recently

It has been an interesting journey together. Through all the troubles and trials I'm still smiling. What a challenge, but we have made it to another Easter brk. Room for improvement regarding equal opportunities. I'm happy working for TNS

Very rewarding and excellent agency to work for. The duty desk is very helpful and respecting to the nurses. There is also a brilliant app, the QUICKNURSE where you can pick your shifts at just a click and you are set for work.
