I wish there was a minus option and that is what I would have gone for! At the start of the year I was contemplating between Wren's or Wickes for my Kitchen renovation, but as I also had to get my bathroom renovated I though to opt for Wickes as they do bathrooms too. That however, was my biggest mistake. How I wish I could go back in time and hired Wren's to renovate my kitchen instead, because Wickes have been nothing but a nightmare.Stay well clear of them if you are looking to get a new kitchen/bathroom installed. They sub-contract their work to a company called Pipeline (which apparently they have changed now due to multiple complaints) who will take all your money and leave you with sub-par and unfinished work. Extremely poor at communicating or letting you know if there is any change in plan, you'll be left to chase them up yourselves to find out why no one turned up the day they were supposed to come. Multiple times they will give you a date and not show up on the day. I was initially told my installation would take approx 6-7 weeks. It started 1st of May and now it is nearly the end of the year and they still haven't completed everything and a lot of the things have been done to a very poor standard. I complained to Wickes (Manager Tina Ward to be specific) about their sub-contractors and all she had to offer was that they would have to keep chasing them up and escalate the issue until it is resolved, which is absolutely pathetic. That is the only solution they will have for you. All in all they will give you NOTHING BUT STRESS AND BELOW PAR WORK!The most shocking thing is that they fixed an extractor fan in my kitchen which was giving out ELECTRIC SHOCKS and that issue is still NOT resolved. My toilet seat is not fixed in properly and is wobbly. Pipework is not sealed up properly and I have attached pictures of all this.PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY AND YOUR HOUSE!

Very good experience, we couldn't find some mouldings but Christian (I think his name was) patiently found what we were after and then walked with us to the counter and took payment. Really good customer service.

Just went to Wickes to buy some DIY tools and Luke was an absolute chap. He was really helpful and quite knowledgeable too. Took me through a range of different things to consider when buying tools. 11/10 would recommend Luke to any one who wants to know more about products before buying.@Wickes give this man a raise!

Not sure how your staff survive in this environment it’s so stuffy no airflow everything on the shelves has a layer of dust my girlfriend who suffers with asthma had to get out the building before we had finished shopping. That said the varnish we were after was £6 cheaper than another DIY store just down the road. But seriously you need some doors open at the other end of the store so some air can get through the building.

Not the biggest Wickes store, but I find what I need most of the time. The staff at this store are definitely better than those at the other branches in Nottingham. My special commendation to Luke, who has many a time gone above and beyond his role to assist; a real asset to Wickes.

Today I went looking for some plastic roof covering and I wasn't disappointed I came to this store.I drive a large truck towing a plant trailer and found there was ample space in the car park for me to park. The store is set out in an easy to use way, and the checkout was very quick.I would happily visit this shop again in the future.

I checked the sand for the sandbox on the site and the local was missing. I drove 50 miles for the sand in the stock was 63 pcs. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any sand. The staff tried to find out where he was and I was informed that he was gone, but today it will be. Embarrassment of the shop and treatment of the customer. What do the stocks state on the website for? For the sand to be bright for the sandbox, it could not be bought online with collection, which I also consider a very big lack. My local Wickes Worksop is even more embarrassing !!! I do not recommend anyone !!!
