Played for the first time in the recent Senior's Open. Fabulous course and hospitality. A four and a half hour round trip, but absolutely worth it.Highly recommended!

Lovely golf course, well maintained, greens consistent. clubhouse and pro shop very good, locker room and showers more than adequate. Food well presented. Only gripe is that the order of holes is being adjusted, with different formats being tried periodically. Why is this suddenly deemed necessary, especially after 115 years or so??

One of the nicest courses I've played , in great condition for this time of year , all fairways well kept and I loved the patches of gorse , if you were unfortunate enough to go in them you could at least play out , ground staff doing a great job of keeping on top of the leaves , greens were a good speed , I prefer them faster but you can't have everything . Lots of par four's would have liked another par 5 , all par three's challenging, food afterwards was superb and friendly staff . Will definitely be playing there again .*****

Such a good golf course, really trick and testing golf course that has been looked after to the highest levels. Beautiful greens and tee boxes, which account for a lot. The Best value for money course in berkshire, great course and great staff with too service and food is impeccable, to follow the top standard golf course 10/10 for me.

Not for golf but for a private event. Lovely size room, great staff, only shame were a few members not having the courtesy to leave the bar so private party could commence.

Wonderful course in excellent condition. Greens very true, albeit difficult to read as a first-time visitor. Great lunch too. I'd be quite happy to play here every week!
