Jesmond Arms
Fully refurbished and most pleasant to sit in and enjoy a pint. I find the John Smith bitter can be of varying taste quality but when it's at it's best it is superb. All sport events are available on high quality screens. I will have to visit a few more times to see if clientele are appropriate and those who used to tarnish it's reputation have been refused entry. Good luck to the new owners and I hope to see you on a regular basis

Great service from the staff and a real friendly place for spending an hour or two! Local pubs like Jesmond are the bed rock of the community, despite the current problems with the pandemic. When they are back up and running I will definitely be popping in again for a few drinks.

Jesmond Arms
The Jesmond Arms is a nice pub. There is a good selection of beer, although no real ale, but cheaper than a lot of pubs, really excellent value, the worthingtons was the cheapest pint I've had anywhere. They also have menus for cocktails. There are plenty of large screen TVs, it's excellent for watching sports. It's a good pub for playing pool or Darts as the bar games are away from the main part of the pub. The whole place is really nicely done out to a high standard, there is outside seating and the staff are really nice and friendly. If you're on Holderness road it's definitely worth calling in for a drink.
