well-equipped shop in a quiet location, close to the park, you can take coffee from the restaurant to the shop and go for a walk to the park, which is located on the other side of the street. The store is expensive, I like to go there to see what's new in the season, a small soft play for children and a restaurant are a break from the center

With grandchildren in tow this is a great place to go to keep all entertained. The cafe and soft play area are great, service is good as is the food from breakfast to cake. It packs a lot in including fish, and wide range of products. Having a small Waitrose is very useful for a quick shop of essentials. It loses a star because the garden nursery aspect, range of garden products, plants etc is OK. I wouldn't put it as a destination place if you're looking to stock your garden. Having said that you can easily spend two hours or more shopping, eating, entertaining young ones and going home with something for tea. We continue to go back.

Fairly standard dobbies fair , though the lack of plant care leaves a lot to be desired in their permanent plantings around the site. Cafe was excellent , the young people working in there were helpful, polite and efficient. The rest of the building, lacks definition and feels like a warehouse with stuff just chucked in randomly. Plenty of parking though.

Great garden centre, prices are a little bit high for some of their products but still bargains to be found. Cafe has a good range on the breakfast menu which is what we were having, long wait but understandable as they were short staffed. Staff friendly and helpful.

First time visiting the cafe here for years. When it was Wyevale it seemed welcoming with a good selection of food and drinks. Now a very clinical feel with extremely overpriced food and cakes.

Looking at the other reviews. It doesn't surprise me. Harlestone Dobbies restaurant has gone downhill. Staff issues, training, poor management whatever the reason....remember customer service is paramount . It's not cheap to eat in the cafe ..... standards regarding food and communication is at the forefront .I had cake recently and it was child sized, dry and unappealing. I mentioned it to staff while waiting for tea.Borh shrugged their shoulders and walked of to.do ther jobs ....need I say more .

Lovely garden centre with helpful staff, good parking, plenty of choice. They have a Pets Corner and a restaurant so you can stop for a bite or coffee if you need a rest. Customer toilets available. Easy to pick up large items from the back of store or out front if you need to

We came for a bite to eat and to get a few bits. The location itself is fine. The cakes were nice in the restaurant, however the coffee needs improvement. The most important thing when you're selling such lovely cake is to serve great coffee. It wasn't very strong, even with an extra shot (I had a cappuccino). It was quite milky which obviously a cappuccino shouldn't be. My advice would probably be to stick with an Americano.Service was fine though.
