Definitely recommend the EIC. Lovely ambiance and drinks. The food is on the simpler side but is well-prepared. Perfect after an afternoon of shopping nearby.Make sure you adhere to the dress code.

Chap at entrance directed me to the ‘toilet’ without explaining I should leave my coat downstairs at the same time. Sniffy chap at dining room entrance looked appalled that I still had my coat with me and starting talking about ‘rules’. Quite unnecessary and lacking in any sort of finesse. Food very school dinners and some staff not at all well trained. Overall, underwhelming. I’m all for tradition but this club could do with a shake up.

Wow what can I say. Very fortunate to have a meal here. Service was meticulous and food amazing. It is everything you have read about and more.Not everyone's taste but the ultimate English gent or lady experience.I feel very privileged to have been.
