I have found them to be very helpful.

Very helpful and very empthetic, more than some of the doctors. They are very knowledgeable and again they are better than GPs in my opinion. They have good contacts, resources and they have many classes and meeting groups (young and old).

Having been in denial of a stroke (haemorrhagic) for weeks and months afterwards I finally acknowledged it and joined the group with their monthly activities that helped me with my ongoing though slow recovery xx

Just at the beginning of my journey but DSA have helped me get the rehab I needed (they've done what the hospital should have). I know they are there if I need them.

Offeredso much support and advice just when I needed it. Staff have also gone through experiences themselves so they really do know what it feels like and what is happening to you. So supportive and always at the end of the phone to help you. You are not alone at all. Get involved and be supported by a stroke warrior. They are there to help you power on through. Don't let stroke defeat you! I didn't with the support from DSA
