Carrie's Canines & Friends

Having a dog that reacts badly to people can been very challenging, but Carrie has been so patient with Bobby and myself, showing me where I was going wrong and helping me put it right and teaching me how to read his body language. He isn't perfect but he is so much better than he was, I have always enjoyed walking him, but now I can relax even more with him around people. Thank you for everything Carrie x

Fantastic experience with Carrie. We did a 6 week puppy class and it was well worth the money. She's knowledgeable, friendly and really puts effort into each class. She also brings two of her dogs along to each week for demonstration, which is great as it gives a much clearer idea of what can be achieved.She's also been super helpful with any follow up questions outside of class, such as what food she recommends or dog groomers in the area. Nothing seemed too much trouble.Great value and could see my dogs progress from the start to the end. Would highly recommend.

Thank you Carrie for sharing your training techniques with me and my pup. I am armed with brilliant ideas and techniques to hopefully train my puppy into becoming a well behaved adult. All the information online is invaluable and it’s nice to watch all the videos as reminders of what you learn in the puppy sessions. Lots of informative info, well worth the time to read/watch. Carrie is a fantastic dog trainer. We worked with her weekly in 121 sessions with our miniature English Bull Terrier puppy from when we brought them home until he was 1. We learnt so much from her, our dog is so well behaved and fun and importantly we really enjoyed the sessions and looked forward to them.

I can't thank Carrie enough for her help and guidance in working with my rescue dog Dexter's separation anxiety. Dexter is my gorgeous Romanian rescue. When he first arrived (aged 6 months) it soon became apparent that he had severe separation anxiety - barking, howling, chewing the sofa (and anything else he could find!), and even hurting himself. It was awful, and I felt very lost in how to help him. Carrie was recommended to me, and I am so grateful! Dexter and I have been working with Carrie for over 7 months now, and have made amazing progress. From not being able to leave the room without Dexter having a meltdown, to being out of the house for over 4 hours, during which Dexter relaxes at home - it has quite simply been life changing!I would very much recommend Carrie's Separation Anxiety course if you are experiencing this - it can feel very lonely and overwhelming, especially with the many 'helpful' opinions other people may share with you, when they really don't understand what you are experiencing. Separation anxiety training is long and hard, there is no denying, but Carrie's insights, guidance, and support has been invaluable, and I'm so proud of how far Dexter has come. Thank-you, Carrie!

I would like to thank Carrie for helping train me an older lady and first time dog owner and my new puppy. I have had some exasperating moments with my puppy (not only in class at home as well) Carrie was patient and encouraging. My puppy turned six months at the end of her training and Carrie took the time to explain this is what is now teen years in a puppy and what to expect. Oh boy!!!! With this info I am ready for it. Carrie was really helpful. Our 3yr old male Labrador had developed a tendency to be grumpy with other dogs. He had been injected /chemical castration, but it wasn’t completely effective. Carrie showed us techniques to help distract cooper and ensure other dogs were less interesting to him.
