I ask him to fix mybag belt and he destroyed my bag. Looks worst then before and its all covered in glue. The worst service in all UK.

I needed zips put into some Dublin River Boots and took them to Gary to see if this was possible…..and…. I collected them today… what a fantastic end result… so much better than I could have imagined!! Top quality workmanship..a real team effort…thank you so much Gary and Bill for your advice and help…I now have boots that are easier to put on and remove..and they look great! Great service. I had some riding boots that needed repairing, it was not an easy job. The boots look great and I can now use them again. 5*.

I recently had some boots fixed by Gary. This was a job that required the complete heel on each boot to be renewed as the original blocks turned out to have been made of some card based laminate which had rotted away. My boots are now better than new (and how often can one write that?!) and superbly comfortable to wear.Gary provided a professional service throughout including calling when the work was completed. He also charged 50% less than I'd been quoted by the high street brand.I am very happy to 100% recommend Gary's business. Thank you, Gary, for saving my boots and saving me rather a lot of money.

This shop is on my favourite street in Northallerton- records,ice cream and a bike shop. Popped in with a leather bag that needed repair- Gary was super friendly and said he’d be able to get it done in an hour or so. Sure enough- returned and all done. Absolutely perfect job. As good as new and had a really good chat too. Can also recommend the comfy leather sofa!A+++- highly recommended
