Old High Church
The first church service was held here about 500 AD, and this has been a site of worship since that time. The Jacobite prisoners, after the battle of Culloden, were executed either at the back door of the church of setting on a grave stone. There is a preservation effort to save the church at present.

A gorgeous sanctuary, a very old church, lots of history, a spooky cemetery, and a perfect place for a nap! Located right next to the river, (so go take that walk...and another nap), a block from the Town Centre, this Old Church" is worth your time. Especially if you dig spooky old cemeteries

I am not sure but I guess it is the symbol of Inverness. I mean the view around the church looks so peaceful and beautiful!! And Be careful once you cross the bridge because the bridge is shaking !! but dont worry because nothing will happen to you :)

Old High Church
Old High Church was built in 18th century and in Gotham style with a graveyard. I felt peace when I visited here. You can see stunning view of river ness with historic sanctuary with a graveyard. This place is rich with cultural, historical and you can have scenic view of bridge in River Ness.

this is a really suggestive church, with an ancient graveyard that makes you feel like surrounded by a medieval atmosphere. You must visit it, and have a walk among graves and old church walls. If you are in Inverness, you can't miss this.

Old High Church
Very very nice church. St Columba preached to the pictish in this mount. In 1233 the blackfriars founded a monastery until reformation. Visited by Mary, queen os scots. Nice views of the cemetery and the other church close to it.
