I love this place. Probably it's combination of all: the amazing park (it's inside Bedford Park), the restaurant building (old-ish), the natural style decor & cleanliness, relax & friendly atmosphere, last but not least can order eggs benedict, which not too fancy, but quite delicious. Food fingers also available.I'm a tea drinker but not a sweet tooth person. The yogurt is rather too sweet for my liking. Wished they aren't, because I like the taste.

On a sunny day it was the perfect place to sit outside although it was windy so I had to hang on to my paper cup. The BLT was delicious on lovely malty bread. The service was efficient, especially considering they were involving work experience students - which I applaud.

Lovely park and ideal spot for cafe. Unfortunately spoilt by dreadful coffee. Flat white and black americano both undrinkable. Cheap prices but I'd rather pay more and have better quality coffee.

This really is a gem! Fantastically situated, expertly run and supplying delicious food, I can honestly fine no fault!Serving brilliant breakfasts, lovely lunches and the occasional supper club, there really is something for everyone. Not forgetting the delicious cakes and sweet treats.Lots and lots of toys, activities and games for the little ones, water and free treats for dogs, it's a home away from home for our family.Best eggs Benedict I've had! Once you've finished reading this review don't bother doing anything else but making your way down!

Popped by and was first shocked at the prices. BUT the quality and quantity of the freshly cooked food was outstanding. Definitely coming back. Well worth the cost.

We came to buy a hot chocolate today and the waitress was a bit off and made a hot chocolate with some previously left over warm milk from a jug , as she did not make it up fresh in the machine or attempted to heat the milk. The hot chocolate was only lukewarm and horribly disappointing. No service with a smile here today!

Terrible coffee today, watery, weak and undrinkable. Staff slightly clueless and it has lost its charm over last couple of years and certainly not the same since Emma left. Shame really because it’s a gem of a place with a loyal following. Just needs to be managed by someone who actually cares.

Arrived at 12.30. Nice places to sit inside and out. Was told there would be a 50 min wait for food including sandwiches. Had a coffee which had to be in takeaway cups because we were on their tables on the grass, not the verandah. Was told a few minutes later there was no wait for food now so ordered two cheese sandwiches. Asked if we could have pickle in one. Was told no". Took about 15 mins to arrive. Bread was decent granary

Whilst it was a very busy morning with the park run happening. My breakfast was very disappointing. Very expensive for poor service and 1 powdery and one under cooked poached egg, can you find the mushrooms in the picture? I waited 40 mins for my breakfast to arrive, I was the only person sitting in the restaurant. Take away park run orders were prioritised, I won't be returning.Lovely setting, no heating but blankets are provided with every table for your knees.
