The Terrace at Loddon
My children and I had a fantastic breakfast at the Terrace. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I thought it was good value for money for what we ordered. The food was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals very much. We also really liked the venue and the garden. Overall it had a great atmosphere too!

On a recent cycle ride to Loddon, we stopped at 'The Terrace at Loddon' for a light bite & coffee. We had not visited before. What a delightful experience. This is a smart bistro with a relaxing outside seating & eating area. The service was superb, the food was fresh and presented perfectly and the coffee was exceptionally good. The problem we had was that we could have easily stayed longer and eaten more but we had to cycle 20 miles back to Filby. Well worth the trip there. Thank you Team@The Terrace - We highly recommend a visit.

As a Norfolk devotee we enjoy anything that represents our county and this cafe/restaurant is one of the best! Great staff, good food and dog and people friendly. Good garden with disabled access and a menu that represents good value for money. Seating on three sides enables the best people watching opportunities we know! Inside is also lovely. A real gem!

We have been to The Terrace a few times now and have found the quality of food very good. Just a shame they ran out of scones, they truly are the best fruit scones I have ever had!! The menu has some lovely options and being sourced locally makes a big difference. It’s a perfect location right next to the car park. The seating outside has been well thought out with spacing and sails above the tables to keep customers in the shade when it’s sunny. There is a clean well stocked Children's area for tots to play. The owners are more than happy for customers to have just a coffee and do not harass you to order food which is lovely.

What a great space. Our server didn't know what cake they had, and fumbled her way through our service but we didn't mind. Very welcoming to cyclists. They had frozen vegan cheese cake. That was the only option. The topping was yummy, the base was wet. Our server didn't know what the base was made of. It wasn't biscuit.Great out door area next to the church. Really enjoyed my visit ☺

We telephoned the owner of this establishment at 11:39am after awaking from a night shift, as a vegetarian student nurse, my requirement for fried breakfast was high. After eventually finding the Terrace, I spoke to an extremely professional, friendly owner who assured me even though the cut off was midday, he would guarantee he'd satisfy my desire for fried food haha. Upon arriving to the beautiful homely feeling café, I was greeted warmly and encouraged through to a radiant, family friendly garden and served within 60 seconds of sitting down. My partner and I then scanned a concise but wide varied menu, that catered to our needs perfectly and are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of what smells, an amazing breakfast. I will post a second review following consumption, but felt so welcomed and relaxed due to the demeanor of such a beautiful place and service that I had to post a review. Would highly recommend this buisness!Food was amazing, desserts even better and service the best! Will definitely be attending again.

Everything looked lovely until I had a mouthful of the large slice of sausage roll which was very cold in the middle, so I left it and ate the rest which was very nice. I told the waitress about the cold centred sausage roll and the manager soon came over, I told him that it had not been reheated properly and it could cause food poisoning. He replied that as it was already cooked so there is no chance of food poisoning! Cooked meats are high risk and must be reheated to 70’ or above for at least 2 minutes. It’s alarming that the manager doesn’t know basic food safety standards!

Went a couple of years ago. Wanted a breakfast. Only option had puff pastry with rosemary??? What the .....? Didn't bother. Had a thin latte while friends had a bacon and egg sandwich which had to be requested. Cutlery thrown on to table by sour faced waitress. Never went back. Wish it was a great Italian instead.

Been on holiday called for a drink and lemon meringue one afternoon. Realised we could have a meal on the Saturday we booked. and we were not disappointed. The meal was well presented and delicious. We don’t always have a sweet but in the occasion we did. Won’t forget my plum crumble and my husbands baked apple tart in a hurry. Thank you again

We visited the Terrace today for a Christmas holiday breakfast treat and what a treat it was. Hands down one of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had! I had the vegetarian breakfast which was not just your usual (egg, tomato, hash brown and some kind of veg sausage) it was considered, colourful, nutritious and absolutely delicious. The poached eggs were perfect! I also had gluten free toast (gluten free bread is usually awful and much of an after thought in restaurants) but the bread that was served was also very good. My daughter had the French toast which also looked yummy! The waitress was polite and attentive and the place itself is classy and spotless. All in all it was really lovely. We will absolutely return and highly recommend!
