Needed a plate of glass put back in place on my conservatory, phoned in morning all done by lunch time. Brilliant

Poor customer service, outrageous and dishonest company – DO NOT USE!We ordered fire resistant glass for a local care home for vulnerable adults and was promised a 6 week turnaround. Instead it took them 11 weeks to complete the job! We chased on a regular basis and ALL CALLS AND EMAILS WERE IGNORED! When the work was finally completed and payment was due, we tried to contact them to discuss compensation but we were AGAIN IGNORED. To make matters worse, the Directors of Windows Direct then tried to issue small claims court proceedings against our Company.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

They constructed my conservatory - finished a few months ago. A lot of confusion initially as to what was required - was quoted for a smaller building than I specified - actual final cost about 35% higher than quote.Piling had to be done in addition to normal foundation work due to nature of ground, but that was actually less expensive than expected.The conservatory is very sturdy, rendered concrete block construction with a PVC frame holding the double-glazed windows on three sides and topped by a roof of clear polycarbonate sheets.One big annoyance is the glass supplied (without consultation or choice) is toughened glass - nothing wrong with that as such, BUT it soon became obvious that it causes distortion. I would have had clearer glass units if given any choice.

I wanted windows direct to come back when my porch door had over time dropped a little due to movement in the wood above porch. Windows Direct did not ignore me I wrote an email within one week they have come back and fixed it for me so the aftercare is fantastic.This was January 2021 even with Covid 19 this company was good with aftercare service my porch is a few years old now too.I'm sure you will have no problem with Windows Direct. I would definitely recommend them and I would totally disregard the Bad review off the one star from that care home Manger. If windows direct were wrong they would not have considered taking the homes manager to court over that matter. This person is only telling there version of what happened not the full facts.
