Never had a bad meal, weekdays or weekends. When it gets too loud the managers quieten it down. Lovely hidden gem and damn good beer. Not west end prices either. Kudos to all staff and Joyce

Bar staff were great; really helpful and personable. Food was terrible and I don’t think sending out the chef to aggressively ask what was wrong with it was the right move. £8 for cold chips that were stuck together was not the one and if you list truffle and Parmesan chips they should probably have truffle and Parmesan on. Nice pub though and would go back for a drink

I’m almost posting this with caution as having frequented this establishment for 15 years I don’t want it to get any more popular but the Elderfield is the best Pub in Clapton, hands down. It’s spotlessly clean with great beers including cask marque quality Timothy Taylor Landlord and Harvey’s ( a rare treat in London) Steve and Joyce have a brilliant pub and fantastic staff and very friendly locals. A gem of a pub!

Great local with good atmosphere, unfortunately weekday food is pretty poor. Haven’t tried Sunday lunch though which looks promising.

This is the local for me and my friends Robson Green, U-Boat, The Gracemaker, Bento Box, Jimbo, Babbs Seed, The Price is Wright, Beeboidz, Hannah Pound and Chad Skills and we love it! Amazing vibe! Especially in the sun and a lovely Jazz band plays on Sundays
