Delapre Lake Angling
It was my first time around the lake great, view at the sunset reflecting in the water... will be back soon to explore more. Monday to Friday, there is entry to the car park directly beside the lake. I'm not sure about weekends where to park as there is a sign that access on Saturday Sunday is only for emergency

Delapre Lake Angling
A really nice day out, especially if the sun is shining! It was nice and quiet when we went, although it might be due to going quite late in the day. The walk around the lake is great and the surrounding park is lovely too.

Very disappointed with the staff that is looking over the lake. I’ve tried to call several times before attending the site for fishing ( as is indicated on their signpost ) to speak with them about the permit, and when I turned up at the site, they told me I'm not allowed to fish without a permit.And when I told them I'd tried to contact them about the permit, they told me they are fully booked and their no point in answering their phone.

Great place for fishing, dog walking, just chilling, grab a ☕. Relaxing, calming beautiful woods, fantastic lake, lots of wild life.

Beautiful if you go through 'Delapre Abby' you can walk all the way around and The Abby has lovely gardens too. The tea room is so nice and the people are very friendly. Free car parking!

Beautiful facility occasionally ruined by water-skiers who think they own the lake. Still, it keeps them away from other areas!

Wonderful views. Tranquil and refreshing. Nice for a casual stroll. Only a stone's throw from the town centre.
