I'm never one to write a bad review but I think I've the right to complain, especially when I can't stand looking at myself in mirror.Went in for a maintenance cut. Told the barber that I'm growing my hair out and I just need a quick tidying up, especially in the sides which were getting a bit out of control. Gave him more clear cut instructions like what look I'm after. He ended up cutting off 4 months of growth. My hair is the shortest and thinnest it's ever been. I couldn't tell how much he was cutting off since my hair was wet and looks significantly different when it's dry. It even seemed fine after he blow dried it in a specific way but I came back home and washed my hair and that's when I saw the damage that had been done. Really short and thin with all my bald spots exposed and a round head. I'm 22 but he turned me into a middle aged man. Genuinely so destroyed.Great people, great in salon experience, great vibes but I'd trade all of that for a good haircut where they actually listen to you.

Last time I left a 1 star review but when Greta cuts it, it is always 5/5. So I am changing my review based on her cutting it. She never fails to disappoint and always knows exactly what I want.

Have used Ako for years for a once in a while" treat of a hair cut and hot towel shave when we are in Leeds centre.Went in earlier this week and took my 82 year old father-in-law as well and they treated him like a king. The attention we were given

Beautiful service from start to finish. I’ve been searching for a shop like this for a long time. Got the full works hair and beard priced at £49. Completely revived me. Expert skills and knowledge. Attention to detail and a complimentary drink. I will return as a regular. Many Thanks to Tala and the team for the experience. Much love

Love this place, the attention to detail you get from all the barbers is brilliant. I’ve been here twice and will be going go back many times again!I think the negative reviews are some sort of scam to be honest

Just visited for the first time today had a beard trim, I am very happy with the results and the staff were fantastic. I'll go again when the need arises. One point to note is it's cash only which I didn't know, I was going to go to a cash point but they said I could do so after the cut. Next time I will be prepared in advance though.

Rang me for some reason on my mobile (I don’t live in Leeds i don’t know who they are) at 9.30 in the morning. Returned the missed call not knowing who they are to a very rude male who said we are a barbershop I don’t know why I’d ring you. Well you called me and if it was an accident that’s fine but clearly need to learn some manners. Proceeded to cut me off, no apology just very condescending & rude.

Haircut was fine but the exorbitant price of £29 for a basic cut was the highest I have ever seen. They suddenly state at the cash desk Cash Only" but amazingly when I only had £20 then their card machine appeared. I definitely can not recommend this business."
