Worst company and no customer service.As a new customer, an actual meter reading was sent in accordance with their request, only the to receive an estimate bill for one month's supply of £24,500! This is equivalent to over 10 years of energy bills!After several emails and complaints, our account was supposed to be held under review, until the dispute had been resolved and correct bill issued. Whilst waiting to hear back from the account's dept, we had a visit from a debt collector issuing a warrant of a court order and threatening cut off our electricity!The audacity of Yu Energy to send a debt collector when the problem lies their end! We submitted 5 meter readings, plus their engineer also came to take a reading and re submitted it. They still cannot get it right.We have now escalated the matter for full compensation from Yu Energy , reported the case with the compliance authority and seeking further legal advice to terminate our contract. Being harassed and receiving threatening emails is unacceptable under any circumstances. Most unprofessional company where their call centre in South Africa has a customer service dept that does not communicate with their accounts dept to get clarity on their client's account.

Yu energy is the worst company that anyone can join. Can anyone give me HQ address or their solicitors details please? Even that they refuse to give info. Yu energy illegal took out my meter without consent and put it on prepaid meter now paying previous business owners debts. Yu energy why do you harass new customers, chase the old clients? The amount of bad reviews there are on here and Yu energy can't solve any issues, over 6 months and they can't solve a problem. What kind of management do you have? Just give me the meter back so i can move on to a new company. Rubbish customer service!

Respected UK business people beware of this company. Because they are robbers. And what about customer service? Everyone beware of this company. The contract was a monthly bill but suddenly changed mood without notice. And dunning charge means how many times the same bill will be charged more. be careful ! be careful !

DO NOT use this company...company will not cancel contract even though this has been mis sold between Bionics and themselves..YU energy forcing people to have meter installed otherwise the put a levy of 20% on your monthly bill which wasnt specified at the time.Now going to ombudsmance for resolution on this. Extremely dissatisfied with both companies...

AVOID AVOID AVOID From the start YU energy have been incompetent, incorrect opening reads meant we were overcharged. DD cancelled on one account but not other so for 6 months we tried to reinstate and paid bill using portal. Our meter was switched to Prepayment mode even though we have settled all bills within time frame and spoken to them. Came into shop with no power today despite being told it would not be cut, then over phone today told we were not promised anything. Debt collection agency was previously sent over because smart meter was not sending reading in despite us having no outstanding balance - no explanation for this has ever been given. Dreadful company from the minute we signed up until now when we are seeking to change supplier at the end of the contract. Simply nothing positive to say about the company. Cannot be trusted, a pain to deal with and utterly unprofessional.The broker who recommended this supplier is Bionic who also should be avoided.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.I've spoken to 6 different people who have no idea what their talking about. I've been issued a bill of nearly £900.Bearing in mind I just moved my small business into the building and had British Gas lite set up for the change over. They wouldn't do this as the change of tenancy needed to be done. I was then told it would take up to 30 days for the change to go over, which never happened. During this time I was put on a £6.50 day rate as I was out of contract. Think I was in the building 10 days over 3 months and only had light switches on for electricity. So where you can charge me nearly £900 is an absolute disgrace.I'll simply won't be paying and I'll be going as far as I can with this dispute. Don't tell me to call you, to discuss the matter further as it won't happen.

I have had a bad year made worse by YU. I was out of contact, my fault due to issues, so I called to renew with them. Agreed prices and contact last Thursday. All done, so I thought, then received an email saying prices had gone up and I was out of contract again. So Called again, man on the phone was quite rude, and I said I couldn’t understand why they had cancelled. Quote was requested and I said I would be intouch if I would like to go ahead. Called another supplier who I use at home, got a better rate, and a pleasant customer experience so agreed to go with them. Then my switch is blocked due to YU Energy renewing my contract WITHOUT my permission. Now spending yet more time to sort out. A painful and frustrating experience still not resolved.

AVOID!AVOID!AVOID!Avoid Yu Energy and Bionic at all costs. After agreeing a new business contract with them last year, Bionic renewed our energy contract for 2 years with high prices and without our knowledge this year. Most expensive rates! Awful customer service!These two companies caused me so much stress and money.Now we cannot cancel our Energy Contract for two years.
