Nice theatre but no discounts for families and a bit shabby in places. Paid full wack for seats with good view only to find folk in cheap seats moving into the higher price seats at the start of the show. Their laughter while moving to seats twice the price still haunts me.

Loved performing at the York Theatre Royal with The Tiger Who Came to Tea! V friendly venue staff, great bar and cafe with a very spacious front of house. A great experience.

A great theatre. Fairly compact, but comfortable if you're on the taller side. Looks like good provision is made for wheelchair users, staff were helpful and organised. Lots of space to get comfy and enjoy the refreshments.

York Theatre Royal
York theater Royal is one of my favorite theaters in the UK not because how fancy it looks but because they have very unique performances here which come with affordable tickets and fully prepared/decorated stages every time I come. It is one of those places you should not miss if you go to York. Keep an eye out on their website. They have so many good shows every year. Plus: The staffs are friendly and helpful as well.

A lovely venue, a restored theatre with good views and a decent choice of drinks and light meals. On a sunny evening, enjoy your drinks outside with the Minster in the background
