Excellent place to eat. We both ordered steak and these didn't let us down. Really tasty succulent steaks that were melt in the mouth good. Service was friendly and very quick. Great friendly atmosphere and we very much enjoyed our visit.

Proper old school pub and pub food. Great staff. Football on tv. Plenty of parking centeal location. Dog friendly. Great all round well done star inn

Room was poor very hot. Not enough tea and coffee. Sent steak back. No more left. Had to have alternative. My partner had ate his dinner before I got mine back. Was offered complimentary drink. Staff were friendly.

Pub food at ok price. Drinks fair price. Sat in lounge thinking it would be better. Wrong. Apparently these women worked for Green King that were eating in here. They were customers but filthy mouths on them swearing and just being rude. First and last time I'm afraid. Not a relaxing place.

Stayed here for 1 night for a family party in Eastwood. For the money, i thought was good value, room clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Check in was easy, greeted by a cheerful & helpful staff member. Good bar & beer/had a few before moving on.Would defo return.

Arrived 28th November, cold room for three days as radiators wasn't working, given a small fan heater to compensate. Eventually given option of another room which wasn't much warmer. Breakfast was underrated as lukewarm, mentioned to Arran and he said he knew of the situation and kept trying to tell the breakfast cook !!, some items on menu not available, evening meal same with items unavailable, even asked for a white coffee on Friday lunchtime to say couldn't have one as no milk!!. Staff seemed no bothered with our situation and no apologies, doubt we will be returning

Came here for dinner and it did not disappoint! Thoroughly recommend coming for a visit if you’re wondering where to go in/around Eastwood.Friendly service in a small and cosy bar area, with attentive and courteous staff.Food was fresh, tasty & plentiful.Beer garden is a nice area to watch the world go by and chill.Like I say, worth trying!
