Had my baby shower here on Sunday the staff was brilliant & very accommodating. Food was lovely. Service was very quick & the venue itself is stunning. Definitely recommend for any events.

Alex waited on me and was a star....the chef produced spectacular food and need praise. The Korean wings and beef stew were quite simply amazing. Hats off to Pope Street you nailed it for a discerning foodie. Craft beer was also 10/10

I regularly go to Pope Street for drinks / food, and my family and I have celebrated several special occasions there...including my baby shower most recently.The staff were so diligent and helpful with my event from start to finish, with great communication before hand (even ironing out a booking issue quickly and hassle free).We had first rate service before hand and throughout (with assistance to decorate, and help bringing necessary items to the upstairs I'd hired privately). My guests commented on the warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as the exemplary food.The clean and modern feel is a perfect setting for any occasion...with a nod to the original name for New Eltham. Upstairs we had plenty of space for games, food and gifts - as well as being able to play my own selection of music.In a great location, with easy transport links for guests and the best service, we all had a wonderful afternoon. I can't thank them enough for ensuring my baby shower was an unforgettable day with friends and family.

Service was 10 stars, it was a busy night with loads of Xmas parties but still the service was amazing. Took our dog Nellie for a few pints and dinner. Food was great and really good vibes

We organised baby shower for our friend. We chose Pope Street pub and don’t regret it. Amazing atmosphere, they let us in before opening to decorate the table. Great atmosphere, lovely and polite staff. Drinks and food to die for. I can’t say enough to thank all staff. Definitely more parties to come.

Went for a meal with friends. This place hits the sweet spot between pub and restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere, food was great and the drinks kept coming. We didn't leave until we had no choice but to leave!

Had a lovely family roast dinner meal here to celebrate our recent house move. The two non-meat eaters enjoyed the roasted aubergine option. Lovely food and good service. We enjoyed the atmosphere on a relatively quiet Sunday evening

Booked for a late afternoon Sunday Roast to miss the lunchtime rush, and staff were really accommodating and friendly, and the service was quick.The food was freshly cooked and was delicious and good-sized portions. Finished with a cup of tea and a chat with the new manager, the atmosphere was relaxed and wasn't rushed by the staff to leave.Highly recommend for a chilled out meal with family or friends.

Not quite Eltham, not quite Sidcup so great to have a stand out bar to frequent. Great cocktails, good food and friendly staff, what more could you ask for?!
