All garages quoted full rebuild without looking at the vehicle at 1800+ vat …After calling nearly every auto transmission expert on Google around the uk .. I stumbled upon a website called Fate … Federation of auto transmission engineers ..I found a guy in Preston but was too far and he recommended Cals transmissions in Denton. Quick note, the Preston garage did not offer price either without looking … thus seemed to be consistent with reputable engineers.I was also recommended by James wood Stockport Bmw to try these guys at Cal Transmissions.After getting the vehicle booked in, they sorted the car 3 days before they said so within 48 hours, did a flush, change the sump and fresh oil and was back on road.They could of said anything but they were honest, friendly and just felt really assuring that my car was in good hands.It is such a pleasure to know there are mechanics and engineers out there who act with the upmost integrity and a very high standard of customer service.Really amazed as to how brilliant these guys are and are a rock solid team who definitely understand the science and overall managing of a business.Treated with respect and literally blown away by the superb quality of workmanship and speedy of resolve.If anyone is reading this review and they have a transmission problem than definitely Cals Transmissions are the go to guys … take it here before you anyone else. It is a good place for gear box repair or replacement they have an excellent team of engineers it's my first visit which was impressive . Hope experience adds some more.

The most honest and genuine service you will get anywhere in the UK, the work they do is based on honesty and trust Don't even take your car anywhere else. I had to wait to get an appointment but it was worth it regardless of how many obstacles there was. There is nothing to match their genuine service and honest work anywhere else. I am so glad I took my car there and Chris is absolutely wonderful. Take it from someone who is very picky that it's worth every penny for the service you get. Thank you for all your hard work and repeatedly helping me.

They are excellent at what they do and give great customer service.They've sorted my ford's automatic gearbox and found and fixed 2 other issues contributing to the original problem. I highly recommend.

Was having issues with my Land Rover Discovery 3 slipping out of gear. Was recommended to go to CAL Transmission after all the mechanics in my area said they don’t touch automatics. Took my car upto them, diagnosed the issue in under 5 minutes and sorted it the following week for an amazing price. Absolutely fabulous team, honestly can’t fault them and would highly recommend anyone having any car issues.

Very pleased with the service I received from CAL transmissions. Auto gearbox on my VW Transporter Camper van had failed. The repair was carried out to a very high standard and the vehicle returned in time for my holiday. Excellent value and highly recommended.

Really professional garage with decent price to fix the gear box issue (especially for VW group daul-clutch transmission) without any hidden cost. The only thing is the queue time a little longer if the car suddenly broken down. Highly Recommend

All I can say is thank you to Chris and team at CAL trans limited.I was recommended to this place by the AA when my Skoda Superb 1.6 diesel's transmission had a fault 3hours from home rendering it undriveable. The other garages either couldn't help or didn't have immediate slots to fit me in. They agreed to take my car in and went above an beyond to rectify the mechatronics issue at a very good price as anywhere else probably would have cost me 3 times the amount and the issue would be unresolved. The car drives well and the work even carried the 1 year warranty.I'd recommend them to anyone with a DSG as their knowledge and customer care saved me from financial ruin.Thank you guys
