Nacel International

Both of our teens have completed summer Nacel homestays-- one in Italy, one in France-- and the experience was extraordinary for both of them. Nacel's application procedure is thorough and detailed, which allowed for them to be placed with families that were an excellent match for their personality. Nacel was in constant communication with us through the entire process. Our communications were always professional, helpful, and supportive. Our children's safety was always their top priority, as well as ensuring they had a fulfilling experience that facilitated their personal growth. I truly cannot recommend this program highly enough to families who want their children to have the experience of a lifetime. Thank you, Nacel!

My daughter attended a swim camp in Vichy this summer. We were very apprehensive at the beginning as we did not know NACEL and it was the first time our daughter (14) was going abroad to a camp (in a different language). We need not have worried. From the moment we dropped her off I felt reassured. The organisation at the check in was excellent, the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming. We were able to take her up to her room and meet her room mate. The rooms were amazing - large and airy with very nice en-suite. Our daughter enjoyed the camp immensely - both her swimming and her French progressed considerably - she has just had some great new times in her start of season competition - and from a social skills perspective, the camp was also excellent in terms of getting the children to interact with each other. She is keen to do the camp again - maybe even 2 weeks! In short, I recommend this programme.Special mention to the swim coach (Wi-Wi) and also to the camp director who made the effort to come and talk to us at check in and made us feel very reassured.

My son had a great experience. He did the 2 week camp in Madrid. Logistically everything ran smoothly. We personally dropped our child off, so I don’t know how the airport pick up would work.We knew he was not going to be fluent in Spanish in 2 weeks, but he came back a better communicator. The thing I really like about the camp is that my son got to meet kids his own again from all over the world-Turkey, Lebanon, Sweden, France, etc, which in itself was a great cultural learning experience. Additionally, the camp took the kids on a lot of field trips, such as a water park, retiro park, and a few others.If I had to say anything negative- I signed him up for the tennis camp. He said it was a waste of money and time/because the tennis instructor was not good, but that was only 1 hour a day.He had his own room and bathroom in a college dormitory. They had washing machines.All in all a great experience and I will send him to a Spanish camp again next year.

Our two sons thoroughly enjoyed their exchange program in Japan and Nacel was extremely helpful in handling all the details! The boys met other students from around the world and formed new lifelong friendships. They are already planning follow up trips to visit some of their new friends in other countries!The school program started out a bit too easy for them but in the end, their Japanese language skills dramatically improved and they both said that they learned more in the four weeks in Japan than they did in two years of home study!The host families were both wonderful and it seems like they genuinely enjoy hosting international students. Both our sons felt welcomed in their host family homes!

I really enjoyed this experience to go to France. I got to meet many new people from different countries and cultures. The classes were relaxed and very fun. I got to be immersed into the French culture fully. The camp had really fun activities for everyone so you never got bored. The excursions were very nice and there was a big variety of places to go. The staff were really nice and so were the teachers. It was overall a really fun experience for any teenager to go on.

Very well organized and responsive organization. I spent 2 weeks of August in the Antibes Camp and it was the perfect way to properly immerse myself into the French language and culture as a New York High School student visiting Europe for the first time. The camp had taken us as a group to Nice, Cannes and Monaco as well as showed us around Antibes the first Monday there - I was also able to take the train to Nice and Cannes on my own time! The rooms were very spacious for 2 people and had air conditioning. I had also left on Sunday at 6 A.M. - the typical day to leave is Saturday - and was driven there by a camp counselor on the camp's car and got there perfectly on time! The food was alright but you are able to order for delivery to the camp, buy some food from a market and go out to get food! In terms of the classes, I had originally been placed in A2 level, which did not feel challenging enough, so I had moved up to B1+ and taken cours intensif" (intensive class) - an additional 45 minutes where the teacher is better able to target your personal learning. Celine and Alexa were very quick and helpful to any questions my parents or I had throughout the entire process! I recommend this camp to everyone who is starting to learn a foreign language or who already has experience with it!"

My children joined French and fencing summer camp through Nacel and they had a great time. The consultants at Nacel are very knowlegeable, organized and helpful. They help answer every little questions I had and make sure we had a pleasant experience from registration to the D-day. Thank you Nacel, it has been a memorable summer camp experience!

Our experience with Nacel was just incredible. Our kid spent a year abroad, became fluent in French, and was enriched with a great experience. It helped our daughter to renounce after the pandemic year and boosted her international career aspirations. Cultural immersion cannot be better with a great match with a hosting family. Our kids are friends now, and we hope it lasts many years.We are very thankful to our Nacel Advisor, Celine G, who navigated us through visas, adaptation and successful completion. Again, highly recommended. We are considering that for our junior now.

Our 15-year-old daughter participated in the course offered by NACEL in Fukuoka Japan for 4 weeks. It was an incredible experience for her and we enjoyed seeing how she was able to advance in the language, meet new people and enjoy everything. They picked her up at the airport and dropped her off at the residence where she stayed. In this place there was a lady in charge, who gave them breakfast and dinner, a charming woman who was always aware of our daughter and the others who stayed in the place. The school where he took the courses was very good and organized, the excursions were beautiful. I can only thank you for everything and I openly recommend it, there was always communication with NACEL prior to the trip, everything was correct, everything went perfectly.
