Boardman Violins

I have known Peter Boardman for some 40+ years and Rory from birth. I turned up to ask Peter if he was prepared to make a full consort of viols, which he did. Not his main focus, but they were lovely instruments. Subsequently he made me a very beautiful 'cello and over the years has made some wonderful violins and violas. I am delighted that Rory is following the family tradition. A violin by Peter contains not only his skill, but his love and that is the depth of quality they have.

Excellent work done to fix a few issues on my cello. Could not believe the improvement in sound.

I bought a Pedrazzini copy (I think!) back in '96, also a Perry copy a few years later. Both lovely violins. Peter has always been very supportive of my own amateur luthierie activity over the years, in addition to hours of chat in the workshop. Wishing Rory all the best with continuing the tradition!
