A very nice and peaceful woodland walk, stopped off to walk the dogs a few times now and well worth the visit.Nice tea room and food with some friendly staff gives an overall nice atmosphere.Only drawback is the signage when approaching and a shame it isn't open on weekends.

Went to photograph Fungi which were few & far between. This is a small wood with good natural paths & plenty of seats along the way. Very quiet maybe because it was early morning. It does get a bit boggy in places.

Nice venue though we were attending for a funeral so an emotional time. The staff were lovely though…Probably only complaint would be the signage… we arrived just in time, after seeing more of the area than we would’ve liked.

Nice food. Great woodland retreat.Cajea are all home made and the English breakfast they do is the bestGo for a walk after eating and the wildlife is second to none.So peacefulCompost toilet can get a bit smelly though but always good to be green

Excellent place with a wide all encompassing embrace of the meaning of and how to care for nature. Has an introductory walk with one of the rangers, really interesting talk with someone who knows and enjoys his job.

Risked my life crossing the A46 on my bike to visit Hill Holt Wood. Sadly, it wasn't worth it. Very little to see, so decided to try the cafe .... but, couldn't find it and no signs to indicate where it was. There were people getting either wood craft or gardening lessons, so things were happening, but not for me. Sadly I won't be returning, especially as just also a small wooded area, so hard to spend much time.
