She’s a fine looking bridge isn’t she? I love architecture like this.

Marvel at this amazing Victorian architecture, it is awesome up close, 3 years to construct, 40,000 enormous blocks of stone used

Through this bridge the trains get into the Berwick railway station. It boasts of a long history. The best views of the bridge can be from either from the castle Vale park near the railways station or one can walk near the Riverside to see it closer. It is a very big structure when seen closer.

Border - what border?Ironically named railway bridge across the River Tweed on a line that actually crosses the border approximately 2.5 miles north of Berwick. The bridge dominates the skyline all along the riverside in both Berwick and Tweedmouth

Beautiful bridge. Took a walk around and captured a few photos. Whilst your there you can maybe have a look at the replica driftwood boat near the bridge as seen in the pictures I took.

Stunning piece of architecture best viewed from the path below, free parking a couple of hundred yards from the structure and easy walk up to it then after the bridge it's marshland, still manageable but not the easiest of going and not a great deal to see (after the bridge). As well as being quite a sight to behold it is also of historical importance as not only was it designed by Robert Stephenson but it was the last link in completing a continuous railway line running between London and Edinburgh.

Awesome Victorian railway viaduct that towers over the castle ruins on the north bank of the river Tweed. Trains cross every few minutes so you don't have to wait long to see one. An information board under the bridge tells more about its history.
