Olive Tree Artisan Cafe
Went to this wee, tidy, and quiet eatery for some grub. The relaxed atmosphere was grand, but the food didn't quite hit the mark. I ordered a sun-dried tomato quiche and a chicken pie, but the quiche was missin' the sun-dried tomatoes and tasted a bit on the plain side. The pie was just middlin', even though it had a right good amount of chicken.The menu had the usual bits and bobs, nothin' really stood out. Portion sizes were fair enough for the price, but the food quality wasn't the best. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and on the ball, which was a nice touch.The dishes came out quicker than you'd expect, which felt a wee bit rushed. But the place was clean and had a quiet vibe, which I was well into.All in all, I'd give this place a 2 out of 5 stars. It's a comfy spot, but the food could do with some improvement. Not sure I'd recommend it or go back for another meal when there might be better grub to be had nearby.

Olive Tree Artisan Cafe
We stop for tea and buns many times when we visit Bangor. This cafe was one of the best of this trip. A very pleasant experience. The food is delicious. The service is friendly. They remembered our son the second time we stopped by. It's the details that make a difference and this place pays attention.

Ordered an Americano in the shop because I was told I had to after sitting outside but eventually gave up waiting after a life time and went the red berry were I could at least control the critical path by carrying my cup to my table after buying it thereby enabling me to then drink it at my leisure!

Had a cooked breakfast and can safely say it was the best I’ve ever had. The food was cooked to perfection, didn’t have long to wait,was asked what way I wanted my eggs done and all the food was freshly made. The meat products were locally produced and the potato bread and soda bread was homemade. There were a varied selection of homemade scones,cakes,pastries on display and only I couldn’t eat another bite I would have loved to try them. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Bangor. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was good value for money. The establishment was clean, tidy and bright and airy. I recommend the Olive Tree Artisan Cafe as a must to everyone.

Great quality food and service for a daddy daughter date. Was the first time I'd been and was the only place that I could see open for breakfast before 9am on a Thursday. My daughter (2.5 y/o) was well looked after and didn't mind that she couldn't have ice cream for breakfast as she asked.

We had a lovely breakfast! 3 frys with drinks! The allowed us to substitute out black pudding for an extra sausage! It was a really tasty, hearty breakfast!The staff were pleasant and helpful! Highly recommended! We will be back!
