We contracted with Gary Melia to replace our guttering, he came across as competent and professional; he said that he would do the job on the Tuesday, we waited in all day and no sign of him! Phone calls and voice-mail went unanswered. That evening we phoned his home number and spoke to his wife, who said he was on another job. When we arrived home on the Wednesday there was a Answerphone message from his wife, saying that he was going to get it done on the Friday....Guess what....we waited all day Friday and again he did not turn up!As we are self employed waiting in all day for two days cost us a lot of time and money, and Melia did not even have the courtesy to phone to say that he was not coming to do the job!If you employ Melia and he gets a better paying job he will leave you high and dry!It is roofers like Gary Melia that give the roofing trade such a bad name.

I needed my roof repairing after bad weather recently. The lads who performed it did a great job, cut no corners in replacing the flat roof, fibre glassed it and now it will last for decades. I've had issues with leaking through my attic roof for years, and two roofers haven't been able to sort it. Gary knew what the problem was immediately and it was fixed on the same day.
