The best fish and chips in Clacton. All cooked fresh to order. I order mine on the phone and Collect. Food is always spot on no complaints. Highly recommended. And they deliver.

Sorry guys but won't be using you anymore..Today for lunch 2 x regular cod and chips came to £22.00 should have checked the new prices.. but the portions for this were equivalent of a child's portion. Didn't see until we opened. Definitely not good value compared with others having never seen such small cod. Unfortunately chips soggy and nothing special. Please also offer your customers a fork and a serviette at least without having to ask. Very disappointed im sorry to say in portion size for the cost. Sorry can't recommend or would use again.

I walked in thinking it was a customer leaving at the door and the gentleman held the door open, it turned out he worked there. If Pete was the gentleman cooking he was a pleasure to speak to and the food was as fresh as it comes. Ladies and gentlemen, all these businesses are struggling with high gas and electricity prices, much higher than you have at home as the government put bo cap on for business like they did home bills. Please support this great shop

Two regular cod & chips to eat on the cliff top at Holland on sea.Cooked while I waited and the result was absolutely fantastic, the crispest batter and a lovely piece of fish with very good chips.Never been in Pete’s before but will definitely be back for more.

Had large Rock, regular chips and a curry sauce. Fish was cooked fresh the chips was like fried mash and the curry was done in the microwave. Basically all I ate was the fish needless to say ill never use again. I gave 1 star because I couldn't give zero

Just wanted to point out that a lot of the negative reviews on here are NOT honest reviews. Most are made by other competing fish and chip shops in the local area trying to tarnish this business' well respected reputation, and the other few are from ex disgruntled employees.Anyone who uses Pete's Fish and Grill knows the excellent quality they deliver, also their prices are some of the fairest in all of Holland-On-Sea.I find it appaling that people can leave a negative review because they attempt to buy food at peak times when things are busy and are made to wait a little longer than expected.
