Visited over Christmas period, what an amazing british pub, everything you could imagine and a good natured and friendly clientele.The publicans, what can I say other than they are 'simply the best'As Arnie say's i'll be back, next time in a cab so I can really get stuck into some of the real ales on offer

Nice little pub in a beautiful area, owners very welcoming aswell as everyone else!Clean toilets, pool table, huge garden good beer. What more can you wantDefinitely recommend a stop here if you've got the chance

A brilliant local pub - the heart of Thornborough!A pub with two sides - there is a very cosy snug with a fireplace on the right as you come in, or a more open busier side to the left, which also has a pool table.The pool table hosts some fierce competition on a Friday night, but anyone is free to join.The Howe & Co Fish & Chip van stops here on a Friday night and you can eat these in the pub.There is a large beer garden outside for those summer nights!

We visited this lovely local pub last Saturday while staying in an Airbnb nearby. Really friendly and welcoming locals and a great atmosphere. Free cakes and chocolate brownies was a bonus too :). Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely little village pub. Couldn't provide a rating for the food as we didn't stay for food. But very welcoming and friendly local pub. Pretty village as well.

What a rare gem of a traditional pub this place is, a lovely cosy atmosphere with equally very accommodating staff and owners.It's such a shame that these types of pubs aren't everywhere.I fully recommend this rare traditional pub.....Not to be missed

Cosy, historic pub. Friendly vibe, good service and decent choice of drinks. Parking super easy too, has a real local atmosphere. Bonus point for an open fire.

My parents love this pub and brought me along when I was visiting them. Great place, lovely friendly atmosphere. Everyone seems to know everyone else but that doesn't stop them being very welcoming to new faces. You feel right at home in minutes.
