Must be the most prolific spring in the Malvern hills. The flow is seasonal: it'll fill a 5 gal bucket in about a minute in winter. It's also fairly popular, there can be a queue during the weekend. You might need wellingtons. The water is very soft indeed, it's perfect for making light lager type beers. Has a Pilsen water profile.

Nice little place to get some fresh mountain water from. The tap is continuously running. Two taps.Nice little layby opposite to park quite a few cars on. Also a bin on the layby so can drop off some rubbish if your car is overflowing or you just fancied a snack. Also little logs to sit on and enjoy the view and natural sounds of beauty..

Refreshing! Fresh, ice-cold, pure tasting water on one of the hottest British summer days.. drank to our hearts content and filled up every bottle we could find in the car for the journey! We will surely be coming back for some more :)

After some friends recommend that we meet up here to head out for a walk, it was amazing to find how free flowing and well presented public water fountain, we filled up our small bottles and headed up to the Malvern beacon, upon our return we refilled our bottles again to go home, and compared it with our tap and our zero water filter the tap water (from Stourport-on-Severn) was 200 ppm with the filtered tap water being 001 ppm and the Hey Slad Spring came out at 102 ppm but don't forget that there are good minerals it's our filter that removes all particles from the tap water. So yea we will be filling up more when we visit Malvern
