I've known Ben of Pink Cycle Works since 2013 and ever since never trusted anyone else with building or working on my bicycles.Ben is like a Doctor for a bicycle. He will find and sort any problem with he's keen eye for detail.I can honestly say I've not had a better bicycle mechanic in 35 years of cycling and racing around the world. If there is a problem he can sort it. Pink Cycle Works recently built my latest racing bicycle from scratch and I'm super happy with the outcome as I expected. What to say - other than I am delighted to review receipt of sublime and exemplary service. My road bike was in a very sorry state from a long period of neglect which included exposure to the elements. Ben took on the mammoth task of servicing it, ahead of a trip to France - so with very little notice, huge skill and second to none attention to detail, Ben brought my bike back to life. I'm really happy with the work Ben done on my bike.Ben is very knowledgeable and very honest with his work. Surprisingly he didn't even charge me anything for his labour, I just paid for the parts that was needed.I would definitely recommend Ben to anyone who is looking to get their bikes serviced/repaired.

I was in urgent need for a bike mechanic and finding Ben was a blessing. He is very professional, and provided a great service that left my Specialized bike like brand new. He is also very knowledgeable and happy to provide tips and advice on how to properly maintain your bike, since my first service with him he has become my main point of contact for any maintenance needed for my bike. I highly recommend his services, as they will not disappoint.

I can't recommend Ben highly enough. I came to him with what used to be a nice bike, but after 4 years of no servicing and a lot of miles, it had become creaky and a little uncomfortable. He rebuilt the whole thing, fit a new cassette, chain, cables, bearings, and headset, and it's like having a new bike. The ride is perfectly smooth, and his attention to detail has meant everything is perfectly aligned.I'll be returning frequently for my services now. Thanks again Ben!

Ben is a fantastic bike mechanic who has serviced my bike twice. Once after I first purchased it and another after an incident. Both times he got the bike running beautifully and as it should.It is evident he is very passionate with a great eye for detail who cares deeply for both bikes and customer satisfaction. I was kept updated as to how things were progressing with photos and explanations. He is also very knowledgeable and has helped me plenty of tips on maintenance and recommended optional gear upgrades. It’s been an absolute pleasure to deal with Ben and I’ll definitely be back for further services and repairs when needed.To summarise Pink Cycle Works offers superb service with a highly skilled, trustworthy and caring bike mechanic in Ben. I took my bike to Ben to be fully rebuilt and fitted with new aero bars and stem along with some replacement parts. It was running so rough before but the difference after the service is unbelievable. The consultation over parts required was clear and down to earth. Ben’s care and attention to detail is exemplary.I loved getting photos of the work being done; seeing the bike stripped down and then rebuilt. Everything is perfect now. I’m so happy. Superb service. Thank you. Highly recommend.

Ben was recommended by a friend, and did an excellent job in servicing my old Tommasini racer. He changed the cables, pads, chain and cassette, took apart, cleaned and greased my bottom bracket and sorted out my non drive crank which was doing something it shouldn’t be doing. It now feels like a new bike. All this with lots of advice about future maintenance. Thoroughly decent bloke.

I had recently replaced my rear derailleur, and the gears etc needed setting up correctly. Ben was super helpful and knowledgeable, setting up the bike up beautifully. He also gave lots of advice on getting the bike serviced and showed me other parts of the bike that are in need of attention and showed me why. Ben took the time to explain what he was doing and how as he fixed the bike, so that I could learn to do similar tasks myself in future; this was very much appreciated. I highly recommend Pink Cycle Works, and I will be taking all of my bikes to Ben in future for servicing and repairs.
