Howdens - North Watford

Awful company to deal with. Been passed from pillar to post from workers at the store. Was promised a call back today from the store manager but no call. Our oven door outer glass shattered randomly one evening, we came home and luckily the dog was not hurt from shards of glass everywhere. The glass was covered under 5 year guarantee and replaced, however the remaining glass is still in the bottom of the oven. Something that Howdens wont pay for to remove as we are not their customer. Because we moved into he property after it was built I was told by depot manager that we are not Howdens customer therefore they take no responsibilty for their poorly made appliance. No compassion was shown by anyone that possibly the dog could have been hurt by the glass. I made the point that what if it was a child who could have been hurt by the glass as you would. I felt that the depot manager was rude and condescending towards me as he was assuming my living situation. Although we were offered £20 off as a good will gesture on a better made oven because the oven itself is out of warranty, this is not good enough considering the fact that the outer glass that was replaced is damaged on both sides of the metal plate after it was installed. I really feel let down and dismissed by their poor customer care. This is how it has been left after being replaced...

Very poor customer service. Very pushy to buy their kitchen without explaining and offering genuine service to customers. I wouldn't recommend this place.

One simple line to tell.. reliable team and they keep up their promises starting from measuring, designing and delivering..Strongly recommend to any one looking for their home refurbishment needs.

Lovely kitchen once in, shame about the costumer service. I had a lady called Natalie design my kitchen. I told her a few times the layout needs to remain the same as its a housing association house. Trusting she heard and fulfilled my request. I didn't look at the design on my phone with a magnifying glass. Not until installed, the builder following the design, I saw the drawers are on the opposite side of the kitchen (why that was so hard to listen to...) Natalie's reply was I should have checked the design"

Great looking furniture and kitchen fittings for reasonable prices

Have had a kitchen just under 3 years, dishwasher developed a leak, called the lamona, engineer texted to give a date of two wks, when he came didn't know it had a leak so no part, still waiting two wks on, now my washing has developed a leak and engineer has just text with a date two weeks

One of my team just spoke to Christina from your North Watford branch, we are a construction company in North London and we working on a job in Bricketwood, Christina was exceptionally helpful, and definitely went above and beyond to help us get the materials we need for the home renovation project we are working on. We were really impressed this morning!

Nice home furniture at reasonable prices, they don't sell to public so you need someone with trade account
