Both of my children have been enjoying swimming lessons here this year and the team are welcoming and friendly and exceptional at what they do. The pool is fab and not too chemically which is great for my daughters eczema. Its also in a truly beautiful setting with high tree's, peacocks and lots of pheasants at this time of year. Would highly recommend for children's swimming lessons.

Beautiful stunning place with many rooms and game rooms , it needs a good clean but it is very old and historic , the food is ok but the staff need to cheer up! Made a few of us feel uncomfortable and I was told off for being a vegetarian even tho we had told them before arrival, except for that this place is gorgeous !!! So much wildlife and lovely views! It's like a breath of fresh air :)

Fantastic pool, out the way and very well looked after. Bare in mind it isn't the hottest pool but still comfortable for 5 and 8 year old.Swimming lessons are extremely well taught and instructors will adapted to help individual needs were possible.Careful when using some satnavs to find the location as may take you down a long narrow lane, round to the back to the residential buildings. Great traditional swimming pool in a lovely wooded location on the Quantocks. Never too busy and reasonably priced.We try to visit most weeks and have even held our child's pool party here.If you are looking for a good traditional pool, without all the modern fads, then this is the place for you.

Below are some of the images taken of the rooms, clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time and the beds need serious attention. The food was unsatisfactory, found hair in my plate multiple times and the portions were far from good.

The building it's self is absolutely amazing, although we only had a basic history of the house, we were still able to enjoy all it's glory. Although the meal arrangements were peculiar the rest of the time spent there was amazing. But beware, internet and signal is unheard of there.

We hired Quantock Lodge for our daughter's birthday party and we were very impressed. Fantastic facilities nestled within the beautiful surrounding area. Pool is superb, clean and warm with plenty for young children to enjoy. You also have a lifeguard who was brilliant and she offered peace of mind.We also hired the function room which catered for our needs. All in all, a fantastic place which we will use again and recommend.
